Tuimavave Afualo, known as “Tui”, aged 23, was last seen about 5.30pm on today (Sunday 13 November 2022), at a home in Colyton. Police and family hold concerns for Tui due to serious concerns for his well-being.

I can't include more because of the 10% limit, but please, go to the link for a description of Tui and his clothing. The alert is very short, so I'm not sure if I've hit the 10% limit with just those two sentences. (I don't know if the same limit applies to police alerts as does for articles, but I didn't want to risk it. This is happening close to me, it's late at night, and the weather is awful. If there are any other Western Sydney bods, you probably got a text alert on your phone like I did, but if not, please read the links and look out for Tui if you leave your home tonight. Thank you.)

Thank you!!! <3<3<3

I was acting fast because it was getting on for midnight here, and I wanted to try to catch any late night Aussies (though not complete nocturnals, like me) before they went to bed. I didn't have time to look up the rules, I got the alert text, and just rushed a post here.

Thank you! *blushes*

My partner says the alert on Twitter has disappeared.

It would be great if this has a happier resolution than Tea Wright-Finger who I posted about a while ago... she's been missing so long, now, in very remote, inhospitable country.

Oh, that is brilliant. I'm so happy.

The weather is really awful out there right now. Not freezing, but torrential rain. A couple of years ago a very close relative in crisis went missing in weather like this. Police found them before they could do anything, and they got the support they needed, but I get the alert, and the rain is pouring down hard on the roof, and it brought it all back.

I know that's taking it all too personally, but I know what that experience was like for that family member, and for those of us waiting at home for a phonecall. I'm so glad their phonecall went like ours did.
