Where did you see this? TIA
It was a young male reporter, with dark brown hair. He was showing the hotel and the sign. I'll see if I can find it again, since I watched it today.

Damn. No words here. Only tears and prayers.
Ok, I amend my statement to say he hadn't broken any laws (at least visibly/obviously) up until THAT moment. The point still stands. He managed to make a trek from home to this hotel, check in, and carry on for days before the act without drawing attention or notice. What would a well check by the police have done? JMO.
2 chairs pushed together.
I don't make much of it but then that is just how I am. They first spoke to him very early on. The second one he has had more time to think. He obviously watched some news and saw things that were being said.. everything was sinking in more for him plus he had already given interviews to the FBI etc jmoSame here. So very sad![]()
I find the brother's rambling interview interesting. In the first interview, it was like they were estranged. He had texted him a year ago, and didn't know much about him.
In the second, he acts like they were close. He says Steve is the reason he was able to retire early. Steve is the reason he has all this wealth, yadda yadda.
He's either grandstanding or actually hiding something. Will be interesting to see this play out.

At 2:22 in this video, you can see that 'no guns' sign
But could would not search his hotel room without a warrant. I don't feel comfortable saying his gf could have prevented this at this point.Well, since there was a sign that said no guns allowed in the hotel, he broke the law as soon as he brought that first firearm into the hotel. But... IMO, we're going to see other laws had been broken before this, only time will tell.
Question for anyone who might know: What is the long oval purple piece of "furniture" that SP used to store guns in his hotel suite? DH and I can't figure out what it is. :waitasec:

I see it now :blushing: Yes, two chairs arms-to-arms. DH and I thought it could be some kind of tub/Jacuzzi
On a personal note, I don't like the décor and would not be comfortable in that hotel.

You guys are misunderstanding the point of her post. Perhaps reading the post she was replying to and then reading hers as a reply to that post like it is a challenge. jmoI don't either especially since we have no idea how much she knew, what their relationship was like, or what she might have tried to do. She's not responsible for his actions and is probably another one of his victims.
