She said "legitimate," though. It is ranked by your source as extreme right wing, and compared to Truthfeed, Angrypatriotmovement, and others by another source that rates these sites.https://www.independentsentinel.com/mystery-surrounds-mandalay-security-guard-jesus-campos/

-I understand a lapsed license is not an indication of foul play. It does happen to many. I just think in this case it has more of a WTH significance, as does much of much...so far...
The conspiracy crowd took to the internet almost as soon as the gunfire stopped.
Every mass-casualty event attracts its share of crackpots, and the Oct. 1 attack in Las Vegas would be no different.
Shaky cell phone videos of a flashing strobe light became proof of a second shooter.
Sketchy accounts from traumatized tourists fueled narratives of a coordinated terrorist attack and a far-reaching cover-up.
The lack of a clear motive spawned wild claims that Stephen Paddock was a patsy or a spy — or maybe even still alive somewhere.
Already, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said he has seen more conspiracies and misinformation about this investigation than he has in other high-profile cases. The “keyboard tough guys” are out in force, he said.
Some of the stories were created or repeated by unscrupulous websites looking to cash in on the tragedy.
Undoubtedly, the loved ones of those killed in the attack have seen the fake news too, some of it hurtful, even dismissive of what they have lost.
This! Thank you! So many things in this forum are being stated as fact without sources. I would find it odd if he had not been interviewed. However, I have seen nothing that states that except for the post you cite. What's the source of your information stating JC wasn't interviewed by LE and then he left on a vacation?
My recollection through reading dozens of news reports was he was interviewed. When he was to be interviewed a second time it was mentioned he was "out of town". A sequence of interviews with key witnesses by various law enforcement departments or divisions is certainly not unusual. He was not under arrest and therefore free to go "out of town", obviously leaving his contact information with investigators so they knew where he is, as they knew he was "out of town". I'm not seeing any nefarious about that whatsoever therefore I'm interested in your alternate source of facts.
The bigger question is why the life of a witness, a victim of a maniac shooter, requires protection?
Lots of assumptions being drawn..... Maybe he personally knows someone connected with the company, perhaps it is someone he trusts? That's why they were hired? Maybe the licence renewal information on the website wasn't updated? We don't know. Does it really matter?
Important and Great Article from The LV Review Journal. It's a lot longer than what I quoted and really gets in there .

These media sources are slightly to moderately conservative in bias. They often publish factual information that utilizes loaded words (wording that attempts to influence an audience by using appeal to emotion or stereotypes) to favor conservative causes. These sources are generally trustworthy for information, but may require further investigation.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal is a major daily newspaper published in Las Vegas, Nevada, since 1909. It is the largest circulating daily newspaper in Nevada and one of two daily newspapers in the Las Vegas area. ... The Review-Journal has a joint operating agreement with the Las Vegas Sun, which runs through 2040.
I'm not confused. Simply posting the Media Bias Fact Check:I think you are confused.
The Las Vegas Review Journal is neither an Alt Right or an extreme bias media source. It is a local newspaper in publication since 1909. Way before fake news...
This is what you said. You more than implied that he went out of town for a refresher without being interviewed. Cariis, please choose your words more carefully. It struck me odd that witnesses are allowed to go "out of town" a couple of days after a huge mass shooing
I did not say he was not interviewed I stated that maybe how was "out of town" relaxing and maybe they could not find him.
He seems to have some sort of history of vanishing
LAS VEGAS MASSACRE[h=1]Las Vegas security guard Jesus Campos disappears moments before TV interviews[/h]
Where in the world is Jesus Campos?
The Mandalay Bay security guard shot by Stephen Paddock in the moments leading up to the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history was set to break his silence Thursday night with five television interviews, including one on Fox News, Campos' union president said.
Except when the cameras were about to roll, and media gathered in the building to talk to him, Campos reportedly bolted, and, as of early Friday morning, it wasn't immediately clear where he was.
What I said was :
And now that I think about -- that might the reason they did not get the timeline right -- someone in control let him leave town instantly -- so maybe they did not even get the chance to talk to him until the timeline change .
just speculating
