Las Vegas gunman had occupied Mandalay Bay room on Sept. 25, changing room registration to girlfriend's name on Sept. 28, sheriff says.

It's unreal how much time this sheriff is having to spend on defending himself and LE against charges of incompetence, nefariousness, and conspiracy. Just WOW. I have never seen anything like this at this level. It's a testament to the state of things. So sad. LE cannot even conduct an active investigation anymore without being positively put on the defense and have their competency attacked. It's awful.

Check in dates: Suspect occupied room on 25th. Registration name changed as to who paid, Marylou's name added. Not trying to be subversive, just acting on available info at time.

Autopsy: Nothing abnormal observed visually. Brain has been shipped to a lab for microscopic view.

Timeline: Offended at being called incompetent. Thousands of people and much documentation involved. Info obtained from security, worn cameras, hotel cameras, private cameras and interviews.

Stands by time of 21:59 (9:59 pm). Provided by human entry in security log.That's when Campos responded, checked out the scene. Received wounds at 22:05. Attempted to relay via his radio and his cell phone. Timeline of both has been verified. 22:05 verified as when shooter shot at the public. 22:15 officers arrived on 32nd floor.

No conspiracy by sheriff, FBI or hotel. Going through voluminous amounts of info to verify. Giving into to calm the public, not to help a legal case.

Feels there are no other individuals out there to cause harm to the public.

Now continuing work with FBI on timeline of suspects life and activities.

He does seem pissed. I would be too! Having to deflect constant fake news and conspiracy while actively conducting a MASSIVE investigation in search of the truth has got to be infuriating. And then to be called incompetent over and over again...based on ..well, I'll just leave it at that.

Officer Brady was wounded in back, asked to go back to work today. Something else about an officer with a broken leg.

Asking questions is appropriate and needed, conspiracy theorizing and rumor/fake news spreading is not the same thing.
