I think sometimes we forget we are talking about actual humans with certain rights and expectations of privacy. Thank goodness for HIPAA.

This map was helpful for me to see the full lay out of the room- with bedroom furniture, living area, etc. There is an open door on the left hand side, that is to the adjoining room.

Does anyone know if the 32 floor of the MB is open right now? It would be great if someone could get photos of the hallway layout and what numbers are on what rooms. If 200 rounds were fired into the hallway, those bullets went somewhere. Love to see what damage there was, though I suppose it is largely repaired by now-That would be great! I’m not betting on that happening. I imagine that there are armed guards keeping watch
He also said there were "multiple shooters firing weapons out of the windows", It was a machine gun from the room next to me, he said. And, "They killed a security guard on my floor.
He has since rescinded his story. As it turns out, he wasn't even on the 32 floor, he never made if past the elevator, if we can believe he made it that far. He continues to leave plenty of room to doubt the validity of his statements.
I watched the video again, and in the beginning, he clearly says,
What did he mean?
Did he mean to say, "Obviously, being an Australian, this is not an everyday occurrence with me"? Because that makes sense, but what he actually said, does not. It is not possible, "this is a regular occurrence with me", and yet, he clearly says it at the beginning of his interview.
The gist of his interview suggests the shooting gave him a new found fear, it does not support that this is an "everyday occurrence" for him, it is logically incompatible.
It has got to me: Aussie man in hotel room next door to Las Vegas shooter
Brian Hodge has proven himself to be a wealth of misinformation but he continues getting a lot of attention, it's not a stretch for me to think this guy is wrong about his room number, he's already been proven wrong a lot.
If it is true that SP broke into the guys room, I'm sure we will find out eventually, the cops have no reason to hide that information from the public forever.
The fire alarm... did it go off? Was it silent or a loud one? Anyone know?
Because the security guard, nor the maintenance man, nor LE stopped this shooter. He stopped on his own, for whatever reason, and it wasn't because he was out of ammo, or didn't have a working gun, or was out of time....
The room Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock transformed into his sniping lair during the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history isnt being rented out.
MGM Resorts International, which owns the hotel, said it has "no intention" of renting Paddock's 32nd-floor room at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino
"This was a terrible tragedy perpetrated by an evil man," MGM told Newsweek in a statement. "We have no intention of renting that room. Weve been cooperating with law enforcement from the moment this happened, which includes preserving evidence."
-I didn’t say anything about his medical info not being protected, and that it should be available for viewing and that anyone is entitled to it??? His medical information is protected, as adults on a WS thread HIPAA needs no explanation.
-Hoping for an x-ray is only an expressed curiosity about a bullet wound. I know nothing about bullets entering a human. If I were to take a class I would need visual tools.
IMO he may have accidentally shot himself, and then purposely shot himself a second time to commit suicide. It would fit with the two shots heard at the end of the massacre in videos Ive seen.
Context is important. This is what BH said:
"It’s been a very interesting night. I’m here with my team; we’re here working for the week; and so I was in kind of protective mode over my team; but, you know, obviously, being Australian, that’s something that’s kind of an everyday occurrence for me; so pretty frightening, and I think the biggest thing is that I just didn’t really know what to do."

Dear Gooddeeds,
I know from your thoughtful posts that you were showing curiosity as to where the bullet landed.
We are so accustomed to seeing x-rays of lodged bullets and photos of lodged bullets from courtrooms.
Want me to change my avatar to an xray of my baby toe? I will. It's scary!
I find it truly remarkable that two people on the other side of the wall from this "monster" survived.
Apart from being thankful these men survived, their turning up in the hallway must have really thrown a wrench into the madman's plans. For that I am indeed very thankful. Otherwise there could have been more casualties, as unimaginable as that is.
-And the female too? The one that JC told to take cover.
-everybodhi, was the comment that SP was killed by the Police clarified?
-where was BH when he described ***below the terrifying moment...”?
***Mr Hodge also described the terrifying moment a woman stepped in front of him and urged to turn back because there was a shooter.
As it turns out, he wasn't even on the 32 floor, he never made if past the elevator, if we can believe he made it that far-everybodhi,
im trying to figure out where BH was when he first heard it? Before he makes it down to the ground floor. TIA
I have not heard that Stephan Paddock was killed by the police, the first I heard of his death, it was said to be suicide. I googled it, in order to read any past articles that the police killed SP but nothing came up to validate that was ever reported.
Maybe you have a link?
You bringing it up is the first I've heard it suggested.
As far as Brian Hodge, he said many things but I cannot find a credible site in this country to link, all the sites that tell about him going into the building, after the shooting started, up the elevator to the 32 floor, with the story of the woman that "was right in his face", telling him there was a gunman, are only on sites I've never even heard of before.
Some sites say, he said, after going to the 32 floor, he went back down into the kitchen and rescued a lot of people by leading them outside where he then hid in the bushes. Some sites say he was in the bushes first and then ran to the kitchen, and some say he was in the kitchen and ran to the bushes.
It was my understanding the woman went down with Brian and his party, his work team, on the elevator.
I watched his interview with Aussie TV, twice, because it was requested, but I don't give BH much importance in this case. That's just my opinion.
Your guess is as good as mine where he may have been during this tragedy.
-everybodhi,
