FWIW I'm not convinced the fentanyl was in the drink. I don't know how she did it but I suspect she watched him die. She would not risk him being able to call for help. Or if ingested, throw it up or not consume it, etc.

She watched. She wanted him to know she was killing him and there'd be nothing he could do to stop it. Granted, MOO. But she's heartless.

Her performance was... performative.

First time for me, and quite telling. She can't seem to hold onto her story in parts. 'On his back, on his side...' Poor man, and so sad for his children. Glad they have an aunt and uncle who obviously love them.

However, given the ME determined Eric orally ingested five times the lethal dose of fentanyl (non-pharmacy grade), I think he did drink it in the mule, and KR only needed to listen for signs of life. She went back to the bedroom, knowing he'd not stirred for hours-- long enough for his body to be cold to the touch! Yes, 3 AM would fit the bill:

Catching up now on today’s testimony and I underestimated this judge’s ability to keep everyone in check. Defense seems subdued and efficient. I thought they would be nastier and histrionic in line with their client. But there’s still time, it’s only Day 1.

Eric and Kouri’s marriage seems odd to me. Prenup, her business/his business, trust, house not under both their names etc. What kind of marriage was this?

Oh and yeah she’s COOKED! Just based off the state’s opening statement about her conduct. Wow wow wow. And then Eric’s sister comes in and finishes it off. I’m already convinced of her guilt. This is not a case that I’ve been following too closely and I’m already blown away by what I’ve heard so far. I’m still at the BIL’s cross.

Peter can go kick rocks! I just finished Katie’s cross and she didn’t slip anything. Defense was trying to mischaracterize the circumstances of how Katie hired the experts etc and Katie was trying to give a clearer picture.
