How old were the boys?
Defendants who are so obviously guilty decide what their facial expression is going to be. They are stupid because they don’t realize that it isn’t natural to have a resting facial expression for hours.
She is using manipulation tactics and she is failing.
I wish LE could make it a point to get close to possible suspects to show that there are no tears.
She's dead inside. MOOCrying with no tears... Where have we seen this 1,000 times before. She called her mom before his parents? I agree, she needs acting lessons. Also, her complete lack of emotion today shows her true nature.
First time for me, and quite telling. She can't seem to hold onto her story in parts. 'On his back, on his side...' Poor man, and so sad for his children. Glad they have an aunt and uncle who obviously love them.Has the body cam been seen by any of you before or is this the first time?
FWIW I'm not convinced the fentanyl was in the drink. I don't know how she did it but I suspect she watched him die. She would not risk him being able to call for help. Or if ingested, throw it up or not consume it, etc.
She watched. She wanted him to know she was killing him and there'd be nothing he could do to stop it. Granted, MOO. But she's heartless.
Her performance was... performative.

That whole time (on the bodycam) she doesn't need a single tissue, not even wiping her hands or nose on a sleeve.
And a HUGE thank you to arielilane for the bite-sized summaries throughout the day! You have no idea how much this helps me follow along. And to the many insightful and sometimes humorous reactions from you all - that makes such serious trials easier to digestNate Eaton does a super job. He's quick at texting too.
I didnt follow the Lori Vallow Daybell trial(s) so this is first for me.
Thank you. I had forgotten those details.IRRC, authorities never tested the cup/container! However, given the ME determined Eric orally ingested five times the lethal dose of fentanyl (non-pharmacy grade), I think he did drink it in the mule, and KR only needed to listen for signs of life. She went back to the bedroom, knowing he'd not stirred for hours-- long enough for his body to be cold to the touch! Yes, 3 AM would fit the bill:
Richins made Eric the poisonous drink — that contained five times the lethal dose of fentanyl — that evening and then left the bedroom, only returning after 3 a.m. to find him cold and unresponsive, prosecutors say.

Just like a devastated wife would be
No primal instinct of a true distraught wife.
Peter can go kick rocks! I just finished Katie’s cross and she didn’t slip anything. Defense was trying to mischaracterize the circumstances of how Katie hired the experts etc and Katie was trying to give a clearer picture.
