I don't think it's weird - I think he said that hoping to deter weirdos from breaking into his house trying to steal the remains of the Las Vegas Shooter.

He can do whatever he wants to do with them, I though think it’s weird that he publicly voiced his plans. Who really cares!? I don’t think anyone wants to steal the ashes from his house, certainly not worth the risk of getting gunned down by this loose cannon.

I didn't see a lock on the connecting door. I want to know if there was one on both sides of the door, and if it was locked from Paddock's main room, then why couldn't LE unlock it? If it was locked from the connecting room side, then who locked it and how did they get out? Did the monitoring show that door being locked, then the connecting room's door into the hall being opened, and then Paddock's door into the hall being opened? If the monitoring shows when the deadlock is used, as is stated in that report. Then show me Paddock's movements. Show him locking the connecting room door, opening the hall door, into the hall, then opening the door into his room, and putting the deadlock on in his room. Those times should be within seconds of each other. Furthermore, was the deadbolt lock in place on the connecting room's door into the hall? If someone had deadlocked that door, then there's now way they could also deadlock the connecting door and escape.

The small details are probably where things will continue to fall apart.

I still don't know if he was the lone murderer, though could believe he was. I do wonder if he was the lone shooter, could there have been another plan to have someone else there? Is that why the guns were scattered around, and there were so many of them?

Also, wonder why he asked for a different room? Was that closer to the tank he shot at? Was it a better viewpoint into the crowd? Of his prior stays in Mandalay Bay, how many of those visits were in that area?

I don't know why the man had one house, much less several, since he lived at different condos and casinos.

The team's main objective is to save lives, victims as well as suspects. They are on the cutting edge on the use of a constantly changing array of less-lethal weapons and munitions. Team members are highly trained and work in no less than two-man cells.

or to put it another way 40 people (SWAT folks) in the city had no idea anything was going on -- I would think 40 Swat people who hear sirens blazing all over their city would kind of find out if they might be needed !!

And they had nothing to do with anything -- some ad hoc group of LE people decided to storm a room with god knows how many people on the other side machine gunning people to death for ages .

The only logical answer is that some high up folk fully aware of what was happening and that something went wrong advised to delay.

LE is similar to to military stuff in that people just obey commands without asking anything so if an order came to hold off until advised they would do it .

They had to be delayed shhhhhh

75 minutes -- really !! If it was not by design then LV Swat team has some serious deficiencies that need to be addressed STAT

We also have to remember that lie number 426 in the first 24 hours was that a smoke alarm was the reason for interest.

These are mine.
-There is no evidence of a terrorist attack to be found within or without the Report.-There is no evidence he was selling guns, he had a helluva lotta guns, he bought a lot of guns and he bought them all legally.
-I am assuming that there is a helluva lot we don't know about. Listening to Tricia's interview with lawyer Lombardo brought home a realisation of that.
-There IS evidence he owned an extensive child pornography collection.. I posted some research links on this yesterday.
That's a very lucrative business. we do not know whether he was a consumer or a dealer.
I think the most recent figures I read were that it's a business of 4billion per annum.. it is extremely lucrative. I think it's possible the missing hard drive was related to that. But the Sheriff said he had no idea whether it had gone missing in a few days or several years ago. However they did not suggest any other reason that particular laptop was in the room, it's possible, can't remember that some of the other laptops were hooked to his security set-up.
-he had his gasmask ready when he assumed, from reading lE protocols for the event he was about to create, he was expecting them to throw in a smoke bomb.. he didn't choose to jump out the broken window, though it was big enough, he didn#t allow them to kill him, he killed himself, or so they say.
I am shocked at the way the hotel is behaving, from Tricia's interview with Lawyer Lombardo.. they really are playing hardball and therein lies a problem.

Also trying to remember that measuring Paddock against the behaviour of a normal person, whether a sheep, gun, elephant or pornography trader or user will take us nowhere.

I haven't seen anyone mention Campos saying that he had been shot with a BB gun. How does that make any sense? Supposedly Paddock fired 200 rounds down the hallway, and Campos thought it sounded like a BB gun? How did this guy get hired as a security guard if he is that clueless?

I appreciate your view and observations. I wish I could articulate my perspective as well as you have here. It is true that there is much that we don’t know, as well as what you mentioned “there is no evidence of...”.

Let’s think about the stuff we do know, and the stuff we should know:

We know the timeline is a heaping mess and we should know the real reason for that because it is so basic to interpret. NO ONE HAS EVEN GOTTEN CLOSE TO EXPLAINING THAT, NO INTELLIGENT ATTEMPT TO.

We know that there are multiple claims of Campos being injured. We don’t know the extent of his injuries: calf, thigh, bullet or shrapnel...
We know he made the first call, don’t know by which method: cell, radio, house phone. I don’t want to keep going on him because there are so many unknowns pertaining to him.

Taking ‘just these 2’ that I mention ‘Campos and timeline’ because these are key starting indicators. It’s very difficult for me to navigate the storyline past this. Like you would going to a movie or reading a book.

Thus far my theory is somewhere in the area of informant-sting gone wrong. He worked for the CIA, loads of info and knowledge gained while there. I don’t know the extent of mafia internal affairs between these: LE-FBI-MB. Though there is enough cover up that is obvious to me that this isn’t as it should be. WE DONT HAVE A TIMELINE, that is one example of that.

I'm not either.
I think he intended going to his car driving off to one of his pre fortified abodes and firing poppers at them if he was followed.

What happened?

He knew exactly who was outside his door and when and he probably knew that protocols on a situation like this requires that they do not breach room for a specific period or when a bomb or sqat team arrive.

The other theory about the smoke is not playing out for me either. The window was practically gone and a breeze was blowing.
No way on earth they would have been able to measure the heat inside with that amount of ventilation.
