Police say 36-year-old Lisa Barton and her daughter were being physically abused by 27-year-old Alejandro Martinez and wanted somebody to beat him up. They say one of the people involved led investigators to Martinez' body near a golf course.

Along with the mother and daughter, police arrested 38-year-old Christina Watson, 42-year-old Delworth Humphries, 20-year-old Christopher Lucero, 22-year-old Gerardo Valles Junior and 19-year-old Jesse Fain.

Police are looking for an eighth person connected to a local murder investigation. He is 23 year old Marcos Pacheco. Investigators believe Pacheco, along with seven others, beat 27 year old Alejandro Martinez to death.
