SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 and Fox 11) — A Sparks woman named Austyn Busch has not been seen since Monday and police are hoping the public can aid search efforts.

Austyn, 31, has not had contact with her family in several days. She was last seen on May 23, and last heard from on May 24.

On Wednesday, May 25, she was officially reported as a missing person with the Sparks Police Department (SPD).

• Five-foot-five-inches tall (5'5")
• About 135 pounds
• Brown hair
• Brown eyes

Austyn drives a black 2014 four-door Jeep Cherokee with NV plates 754 ZKH.

Anyone who has seen or know the whereabouts of Austyn is urged to contact the Sparks Police Department.

SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The body of 31-year-old Austyn Busch was found in a car at a Reno business days after the Sparks woman was reported missing.

Busch had not been seen since Monday, May 23, and was officially reported missing to the Sparks Police Department (SPD) two days later on May 25.

On Tuesday, May 31, Sparks Police said there was no longer a need for search efforts from the community and that the woman's car had been located.

The Reno Police Department said in a news release they responded to the reports of a woman's body in a car on the 100 block of W. Plumb Lane during the morning hours of May 29. Police say Busch's death does not appear to be suspicious and foul play is not suspected.

The family confirmed Austyn was found dead, which was then picked up by many accounts on social media dedicated to searching for missing people Tuesday morning.
