Jawaher Hejji was last seen near the 300 block of Shadow Canyon Drive about noon Dec. 22.

According to Metro, Jawaher Hejji could be in severe emotional distress and need medical assistance.

All hospitals are asked to check their registries for Hejji. Anyone with information about her location is urged to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at 702-828-3111.

Family seeks answers in Henderson woman’s disappearance – [your]NEWS

1. Jawaher was last seen Dec. 23 on the 300 block of Shaded Canyon Drive, near the Amargosa Trail in Henderson, according to Metro Police.
2. Her sister said every day since then she and her mother have gone to the trail to speak to people walking by, construction workers building next door and anyone who might know where her big sister went.
3. “We’ve been searching every single day,” MH, said. “We had a scent dog tracking her and then lost her. My sister is not capable of going to that place without directions or anything.”
4. She said that around 3 a.m. 12/26, she and her mother got a call that Jawaher’s car had been found near a construction site on Shaded Canyon. The keys were on the hood, and her phone and wallet were in the car.
5. The family has since hired a PI, sent up drones and posted flyers.
6. Jawaher lived with her boyfriend near St. Rose Parkway in Henderson and spoke to her sister every day. Jawaher was supposed to hang out with their other sister the day she went missing.
7. “We have her phone, and there’s no directions and no messages from anyone to say ‘let’s meet’ at all,” MH said.
8. MH’s Instagram and scouring efforts have led to several tips, including one from a construction worker who said he saw a man following Jawaher.
9. A nearby walker told Hejji's search party that she’d used Mace to escape a man with a knife on the trail Dec. 30.
10. “Every day we’ve gone there, there’s been people hiking that trail,” she said. “Someone has to have seen something.”
11. Henderson and Las Vegas police declined to comment.

Coroner IDs man found dead after fire destroyed former wedding chapel

The Clark County coroner’s office has identified the man whose body was recovered Jan. 13 from the rubble of a fire at a former wedding chapel.
He was 30-year-old Steven Travis Warren, and the coroner’s office said his city of residence remains unknown. His cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
