NV - Jeff German, 69, investigative reporter, stabbed to death, Las Vegas, Sept 2022 *arrest*

Telles clearly suffers from a mental defect. No one believes what he’s trying to sell, it’s ridiculous. Can’t he see that?
It’s impossible for me to understand how he’s lived this long without people calling him a liar. He lies constantly: to his wife, to the jury. He’s had a documented and confirmed affair and has been convicted of murder. Yet somehow he thinks he’s going to talk his way out of this. Moo

He’s such a little man, it seems hard to believe anyone would be intimidated. But if you’re in a position of authority, I guess you can bully for a while and get away with it.

One things for sure, he’ll not fair well in a prison setting.

I think she said 28 years. So the 26 years being reported must be to take account of the 700 odd days he's already spent incarcerated.

With that level of arrogance, he's in for a tough time in prison. Won't even be parole eligible until he's 70+.

@k_newberg

The judge has sentenced Robert Telles to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 28 years for the murder of Jeff German. Because he has credit for two years already spent in jail, he will be eligible for parole in 26 years. This is the maximum sentence she could impose.

Looks like Telles is no longer at the Clark County jail and is on his way to the NDOC.

Happy Halloween Robert !

Telles is now at High Desert State Prison, the new maximum security Nevada prison replacing Ely. About 2000 inmates were swapped between prisons.

I don’t think that little arrogant man will do well in prison. Just my opinion

Telles filed a motion with Clark County District Court to dismiss his public defender and have an alternate counsel appointed.

However, Judge ML, who presided over the murder trial, said Tuesday that she did not "have jurisdiction to even entertain this, so it's off calendar."

Can inmates help with upkeep of the prison grounds?
Maybe Telles can wear that hat and high vis vest while doing so.
