Sentencing for Chris and Georgene Ross is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 9.

Thanks for the update. First time I'm hearing about this case. I'm glad that he has been found, and the suspects are in custody.

Judge Stefany Miley handed down sentences to Christopher Ross and his wife Georgene "Cookie" Ross on voluntary manslaughter counts. Christoper Ross was sentenced to serve four to 10 years while Georgene Ross was sentenced to two to six years in prison.

Both were given credit for nearly three years of time served behind bars. Georgene Ross could be out in a little over a year from Monday...

Police said the cab driver was tangled in a love triangle with the two, who are accused of beating Goldberg to death, then dumping his body.

When I first saw the headline, I thought it said that they were sentenced to death. I didn't look at it close enough until I saw the sentences.
