This is so strange - 8-12 years old? Surely there’s a difference. Plus, a 4’11 and 123 lb child doesn’t seem very healthy. Surely somebody was caring for him at one point? Maybe he was a victim of abduction or trafficking?

I take the age range to mean they believe he is about 10 years old.

My son is 6 years old and almost 5 feet tall, around 6 stone in weight too. Genetics- his father is an extremely tall man.
On paper, it sounds super unhealthy. But he's lean and entirely in proportion. All little (and bigger!) Ones are different.

It’s just so unusual for a case like this - it could indicate he was being taken care of, but no one reporting him missing.

That doesn't sound super unhealthy by any means! I was very healthy most my life but was thin (genetics), now my children are too despite all of us being ravenous eaters. That said I pray he was not neglected and had enough food while he was alive.

San Jose PD sent along a possible ID for the boy on Friday night around 8 p.m. A Metro detective flew to San Jose, CA to retrieve a pillow from the missing 7yo child. Late last night, he was identified as 7-year-old Liam Husted.

A family friend reported that the boy and his mother, 35yo Samantha Moreno Rodriguez, left San Jose on May 24. They were missing and she saw news reports of the boy found in Vegas, and believed he looked like Liam.
