I'm thinking that he was working in Fernley and was going to the same convenience store as Naomi every morning. That's how he first saw her. May have even spoken to her a time or two in the store, if only to exchange a morning greeting. Liked what he saw. Probably followed her when she left the store one morning on her way to
Walmart. Then, he knew her routine. The morning he abducted her, he didn't go to the convenience store. Just waited for her in the Walmart parking lot.

Just a hunch.

This is very much along what I've been thinking all along. Stalking her. Maybe never actually went on a date.

So if he's working at all, it's not on his LinkedIn (Elko is over 3 hours away).

Ledcor is a big international company and does some kinds of construction, too. They also have an operations center in Reno

There is a fairly large open pit gold and silver mine just northwest of Fernley - the Olinghouse Mine. Last I read it was still being worked. One of the search flights that was working grids earlier this week did some additional loops over that area while running their grid.

It's off of Olinghouse Road, which starts in Wadsworth. This is in the general area of the ping y'all were talking about earlier today.

Her parents thought she might have been trafficked in some way.
