Oh Sure wfgodot  I put all that time into my post and poof, here is this ...lol. Well thats what I get for believeing the national enquirer...... lol :)

Who don't believe the National Enquirer?:D I was thinking "I know Juice has bad knees, but he got knocked cold?"

Don't shoot me as I am just a messenger, but I told my mom this and she was floored and once again she said "I don't know how a man gets locked up for going to take back his own stuff". She is a fan of OJ as a football player. She was miffed when they took his mom's piano. Every now and again she'll come out with "I wonder where that Heisman is?"

Let's keep it in perspective of who we're talking about here...OJ Simpson. Not exactly Mr. Nice Guy. He's a double murderer who viciously hacked two young people to death, one of whom he didn't even know, the other the mother of his children whom he almost decapitated. And speaking of children, he committed this vicious double murder just feet from where his two young children were sleeping. JMO.

Anyone feeling sorry for poor OJ Simpson should google Nicole Brown Simpson or Ron Goldman crime scene photos and get a good look at what OJ did. Or google Nicole Brown Simpson or Ron Goldman autopsy report. You can feel bad for OJ if you want but I feel sorry for his victims and their families. They are deserving of our sympathy, OJ is not! JMO.

I couldn't agree with you more. Great post.

I will never understand how the thought of a person being beaten into unconsciousness could be considered happy news.

I don't think there is one person on these boards who feels sorry for OJ Simpson being in prison or suffering there from any beating, real or imagined. However, feeling sorry for this murderer is different from rubbing one's hands in glee and excitement at the thought of any human undergoing a sustained and horrific beating, nor matter who that human is, which is what people here are complaining about.

Listen, I fully understand the rage that the loved ones of a victim would feel towards a perp and their desire to beat that perp to death. And I will admit to satisfaction at the thought of criminals like scott peterson, OJ Simpson and casey anthony, etc, losing their freedom and living a life in which they cannot feel the mountain or ocean breezes, or run to the store for coffee, go out to dinner with a friend, pet a dog, etc. But to feel glee at the torture of such creatures would reduce me, IMO, to their same level of humanity. And I can't go there.

We have laws that provide for justice for horrible crimes and that punish the perps and take them out of society and we have, as a society, determined that cruel and unusual punishment is not on our agenda. We are not Iran or Saudi Arabia. Thus, while most of us applaud a just sentence and feel satisfaction at such, and most of us can understand the rage of the victim's families and can put ourselves in their shoes, many of us cannot understand wanting to watch a hanging (I couldn't watch Saddam Hussein be hanged even though he was a mass murderer), or to feel pleasure at the thought of the torture of a prisoner.

As most, I don't like OJ and wish him no happiness but the thought of a man being beat, even him, does not bring me joy. We have to always put our faith in our system, even if it doesn't always work. OJ will be in prison for a long time so somewhere justice has been served. Prayers for the victims.
Beating OJ just makes us like him and we are then on his level and nobody wants to be there.

I never said I feel bad or sad or sympathy for OJ.

God forgive me, but I can't say I felt bad when my ex husband got his tail kicked during a road rage incident. It was bound to happen. Him being the rager and all. I didn't jump for joy, but I have to be honest I kind of was happy.

Now I have to go to confession and recheck my karma.

Vigilante justice, imo. His flagrant disregard for women was, finally, not tolerated. I don't think Karma has caught up with him yet-- he best watch out for that. jmo

Im afraid I do feel a bit of satisfaction at the idea of a heartless sociopath who used his superior size and strength to visit his rage on two weaker smaller people getting a taste of EXACTLY what it feels like to be on the recieving end.
A lot closer to my definition of Justice then anything that happened during that circus passing itself off as a trial in California.

Ok, so what is he saying? OJ has brain damage because of alcohol?

I thought it was going to be insufficient counsel.

LOL, on HlN they said he may have not gotten enough sleep?

Oh good grief!

He's guilty.

Whatever!

Thanks, I watched for a little bit but didn't see him (is he all the way to our left?) and they were showing what? on a screen...

Methinks OJ is jealous that Jodi Arias is currently in the spotlight...

This Barnett guy witness on HLN just said something ridiculous: "I'm a engineer, I tell the truth". One has nothing to do with the other.

Did you all see his eyes and see him searching around the court room behind him? All I can say is wow and it seems incarceration has done something to OJ...his eyes looked terrifying and scary to me. Like he was "off". Did any one else get creeped out like I did?
