I agree 9:45pm seems late but if you have a 5 yr old who probably goes to bed around 8 or 9 (in the summer time) you do things after the kid goes to bed. Sounds like he probably put his kid to bed and waited for his parents to come home before he went out. I do agree that it's not likely his swim plans were in a creek or pond tho.

Been wondering who the heck he met up with,hope LE is doing their due diligence. Not every adult missing is a voluntary. Can't help but suspect foul play when vehicle is abandoned in odd out of the way places. Just gives me the creeps. Prayers for Scott to be safe somewhere and for his family to find strength to see this through. Sorry for rant , thanks for info. MOO

I'm in Reno and there is no info. The family went to Dateline and offered a reward, they are trying. No follow up by local news. People don't just vanish...

He went swimming at 9:45 in the evening that saturday. How late is it normal to get dark there on July 13? Did they search swim area's in Galena Creek Regional Park?

I am a friend of Scott’s brother. I think his normal swimming spot was at a different location. I am in California so I’m not very aware of the search that took place. I think it is possible he said he was going swimming and went elsewhere, but he did frequently swim at a local casino whose pool closed at 10, he left his parents house at 9:30. I guess it is a possible deal gone bad or even worse a set up. I think in a deal gone bad you’re gonna have a hell of a time hauling Scott around and even getting him in the first place. Dude is crazy athletic and big. So maybe it was a hit, I have a hard time believing some dealer could deal with and dispose of Scott.

His mother is the nicest person on the planet and she was like a mother to me growing up. This tragedy couldn’t have happened to a less deserving woman.

Ya the GSR casino. Nothing would have placed him where the car was, there was nothing out of place in the car. He was not known to visit the place his car was found. Interestingly there was a wedding going on there the night he disappeared, and nobody heard a thing. I think the car was dumped there.
