Thanks Ruby and Fairy! You've been ever so helpful!
As I admitted earlier, I've just started reading this case....so I'm sure to confuse some of the issues, but:
I'm concerned about his last few known days.
On one hand, he seems to have been floundering. He couldn't find a good job, he is calling all of his family, visiting old friends unannounced, spending many hours alone...driving many many miles for reasons NO ONE knows, telling some that he might drive to California, where he doesn't know anyone, not paying his bills and not accepting (depositing) help that was offered.
That makes me think suicide or runaway. But who drives their car to a completely unknown area, only to kill themselves? Surely there are thousands of places better and closer to dump your vehicle in the event of a suicide. And running away presents the same problems. What's near this neighborhood that would aid his runaway attempt? He didn't even take any of the money his parents and grandparent gave him....nor has he touched his accounts.
As difficult as his last few months had been, it seems that none of his actions indicate suicide or running away. IMHO.
So, why was he there? Another question is why did GW happen to be in Vegas as well? I saw on the family's timeline that GW said he called Steven...but the family indicates that this call wasn't listed on the phone records. I'm WAY too new to this case to be naming suspects, but I would like to know what GW was doing in Vegas and if LE has checked him out.
Regardless, the neighborhood....Something is in Steven's hand...under his arm. It looks like the size of a portfolio.....like something you'd carry your resume in. I wonder if all of this traveling in his last known days was for job interviews.
But my real issue is...why the cul-de-sac? Regardless of why he was in that neighborhood...why not park in the person's driveway? I think the surveillence videos show him DRIVING straight down Savannah Springs Ave all the way to the court....not turning off of Evening Lights....then getting out of his car later and walking up SS Ave, turning north on Evening Lights Ave. So, if EL Ave is where he was headed....why wouldn't he go straight to the house? Why wouldn't he park in their driveway? And how would he even know that the cul-de-sac would be a good place to park if he hadn't been to that location before...or if someone didn't tell him to park there. My best guess would be that someone offered him an interview...and that he was TOLD to park at that location.
It seems like such a small area.....as there are only so many houses he could have gone to.
Again, I'm sorry if I'm repeating someone else's posts or getting any details wrong.
