27-year-old Evan Grant, who is accused of stealing a plane in Las Vegas last Saturday and flying it around while drinking alcohol, has now been charged with two counts of lewdness on a child under 14.
Before taking to the air, Grant apparently posted to his Facebook page that he admitted everything and had 'betrayed his best friend'. He also, police say, sent texts saying he was suicidal, had tried to change but had been a pedophile since he was 13.
The alleged assaults on one child happened the Friday before he stole the plane and were reported that evening. Another child was too distressed to open up to police but later told his mother Grant had touched him three weeks previously but the child didn't want to get Grant into trouble because he'd been 'nice' to him.
