So it could be that BM fired 4 times. Somehow a 4th 9mm bullet is at the scene... Either or dry fired or he may have cocked it not knowing one was already in the chamber and the gun spit it out??

No, it couldn't be that he fired 4 times. Fourth bullet wasn't unfired.

After they were shot at the first time, there likely wasn't enough time. They were trying to get away from him. What would you expect calling 911 have done at that point?

Record the incident for the record.

They would have explained what was happening as it happened.

I witnessed domestic violence in a parking lot, which was across a fence from where i was. There was nothing i could physically do, but i made sure i described every blow and strangulation to the operator so they would know what had happened when the trial came.

Correct. They would have had just enough time to come up with a rough approximation of their "story."

So dad gives his version to the media right away. Then the son is interviewed by police, and he later tells dad what he told police, and it's not quite exactly what dad has already said publicly. So a new version is given to the media. Then the daughter is interviewed by police, and whaddaya know, her version doesn't exactly match either, so yet another new version is given to the media.

Does that seem familar? Have we seen several different versions of the story come out in dribs and drabs?

It is why Dad is out there in front of the media continually tweaking the story then blaming the media for the mistakes.

I presume you were not running from the person doing domestic violence at the same time?

Why would she run out when kids arrived?

I would have if I was worried about my kids and I heard their car pull up.

Why would mom run outside in the middle of the night? Why would they be conversing outside when the guy with a gun was after them?

Not saying I believe that this happened because I have NO CLUE how this went down, however I can think of plenty of reasons why she might run outside - especially if she heard commotion involving her children. None of this makes sense. I still don't understand WHY she would go back out with her son and a gun to FIND the silver sedan! WHY would she do that? Defies all logic. If that's how it even happened.

It absolutely defies logic that they didnt call 911.

If she doesn't know anything about the shooting, why would she be running outside?

We don't know if she did or not. Maybe someone called or texted her. Small neighborhood, very recognizable car. Or maybe daughter texted her an OMG at some point.

This is a joke post, right?
..about the not telling LE.
Not really a joke. Why give a great description of a 6 foot, blue eyed person rather than his 5' 3' brown eyed description or, better yet, his name and address to LE? According to the daughter, EN said he was going to hurt the daughter and the mother--- meaning he knew who they were and KM had enough knowledge of him to know his identity. Why not disclose to LE that you know who shot your mom or wife? Why go to his house multiple times looking for him? The M family states they were terrified, yet went to his house to confront him. EN was aware they were looking for him.

One little problem with that theory is that EN didn't claim he shot somebody who run outside.

Try being in a moving gunfight at night and remembering details. He probably thought he shot one of his pursuers, with the vehicles in the driveway and people moving around if you are defending yourself and another person runs out......your initial thought is going to be another attacker He also said 'I got those kids'....EN's account IMO makes more sense than anything the Meyers have dreamed up.

They did, after they got home and mother got shot.

They should have never gone back out to chase down that silver sedan if they felt threatened. If someone threatens you - you call the police. You don't go back out with a gun.

They did, after they got home and mother got shot.

Exactly, and not while they were trying to handle whatever this was by themselves.

There is a reason why they didn't call 911 when the first shots happened at the school/park.

They could have been calling out for her (audibly) or they may have been in contact with her via cell phone and/or text.

If any of the scenarios being discussed here on the thread currently are true, it would have been logical for her to do so.

Also, if there were other firearms within the home, we don't know whether or not she was armed at the time herself. Her state of mind is unknown, and she certainly could have been in Mama Bear mode.

Phone records of all the M's (including the land line) will help to she light on how this occurred. Again, very much we still don't know.

Also it is a small area and EN said he shot 22? times total, maybe she heard the gunshots and the cars screeching/squealing tires...maybe....the cell phone call works too.

Oh for crying out loud. How is he defending himself?
Meyers drove away from him to their own house. They were not after him at that point. This is getting ridiculous. You can't just follow someone to their house and shoot them, and then claim self-defense.

There were no shots at the school or park.
