Maybe so, but hasn't she been married to Bob for twenty-something years? Wouldn't she have her license in her married name?

I think the post from her friend who put up the donation acct said she quit when she started having children so she could be a stay at home mom.

I have a question. In the warrant document it states that the silver car passed the Buick on the passenger side using the bike lane before spinning sideways to block the victim's path.

Where I live the bike lane is fairly narrow. Maybe a smart car could pass and drive in that lane, but not a normal size car without riding up over the curb. Do these streets have wide bicycle lanes or perhaps no curbs making it feasible for a normal size car to travel in the bike lane?

And a Classic Buick Oldsmobile is a BIG car.

Okay y'all I made a map of the driving routes between Tammy and her daughter and o' Mystery Car per the warrant. A couple points of interest is the distance between the first interaction between the two cars and from the school where Tammy started. Where were Tammy and her daughter going when they left the school? They weren't going home. And how did Mystery Car manage to find them so quickly? Mystery Car would have had to already know exactly where they were in order to catch up with them so quickly.

Another interesting thing I noticed is that after Mystery Car overtook TM, they turned right on Westcliff. It was then Tammy who followed Mystery Car!

Please note the warrant says they turned onto Cimarron from Westcliff and then the silver car confrontation happened. So I don't know how far down Cimarron they actually were. That is just a guess.

If it was on Westcliff, yes, it looks like a nice size bike lane.

Was it actually on Westcliff, SStarr33? I understood the warrant to mean the confrontation happened on Cimarron, but I could be wrong.

Cimarron is not off of Westcliff on the map I looked at, and Westcliff has a big bike lane, which is why I said if. I'm a little confused on the details of the path they took.

She was 44. Oldest son is 22 or 23 depending on source. That wouldn't allow much time to go to school to become an RN or LPN and to work as a nurse, would it? Also, married at 19 if Bob's math is correct.

Cimarron is off of Westcliff, click on this link of the driving routes map I made, you can zoom in. I followed the exact routes per the warrant the best I could. The only thing I'm not sure of is the exact place Silver Car overtook them on Durango and where on Cimarron the confrontation took place. And no worries, I just wanted to make sure my map is as accurate as possible with the information given. It is indeed confusing!

I just read on WJLA.com that there is absolutely no record of TM being a nurse in Nevada or California. No current license or expired license can be found apparently. That's strange. I am on an IPAD and don't know how to bring the link over. Is this another mistruth that the family told? If so, why would they lie about something that can be checked out? Was she a nurses aid instead?
Many people assume nurse's aids and caregivers are nurses. My own husband often does this when referring to the occupation of friends' spouses or a neighbor. I always correct him. As a daughter of an RN, it annoys me.

The actual workers themselves also can refer to themselves as nurses when meeting people to boost their image. As a result, I don't think the family is purposely lying for the media. It's probably something she has said since the beginning of time when meeting new neighbors, friends, etc.. Her children might actually believe she's a nurse. Based on Bob's FB posts, I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks she was a nurse too.

Maybe so, but hasn't she been married to Bob for 25 years? Wouldn't she have her license in her married name?
It would have to be in her married name. Employers need to verify RN and LPN credentials with the state licensing boards. Maiden name wouldn't cut it because the license wouldn't match the employee's identification. If she was licensed in California, she would be required to apply for a license in Nevada, if there isn't reciprocity between the states, and meet the requirements of Nevada, which could mean taking additional courses, etc., before getting a new license.

I know many people who obtained their nursing degrees while raising children. My neighbor across the street did it while having five children in less than five years. She was constantly pregnant during those years. She got her RN, and pursued her BSN while working as an RN. She is working on her MSN now. I believe her youngest child is four years old now.

There would still be a record of a license though.

In Tammy's defense, I often drive around endlessly when I have my children in the car and they are opening up and talking about things. They seem to be more relaxed in the car and talk up a storm when we're driving. When they were having a difficult time, it wasn't uncommon for me to grab my keys and say, "Let's take a ride." A change of scenery is good for the soul.

But it is interesting that the Mystery Car found them so quickly. I wonder if they were supposed to meet the Mystery Car. Drug deals often involve driving to strange places to meet people. Maybe EM sent them to meet Mystery Car at X intersection.

I'd love to know about the calls and texts on everyone's cell phones that night.

That is like so totally bizarre. If you find out, while out of town that your wife has been shot/killed, do you seriously call up a news station? who does that? The things he's posted on FB since her death have been equally as bizarre, IMO....for a man so deeply grieving.

He says that's where he was when Tammy was shot. He called KSNV en route to say it is time to take back their city. (Whatever.)

Interesting read. What Barbara posted about medical bills is bullcocky. (See quote below.) Insurance via the Marketplace is quality insurance that has to provide a quality level of coverage. These policies have out of pocket expense limits. There is no way in HELL Bob owes 440k in medical bills if Tammy had health insurance through what Barbara calls "Obamacare." There's no way an appendectomy could deplete family's annual coverage. Those types of policies are against the law now. Obamacare outlawed annual and lifetime dollar limit caps on medical insurance policies. Either Barbara is lying or Bob lied to her or Bob is clueless.

Tammy's medical expenses exceed $1Million. Think about it, ICU for two days. Medications, surgeries, Life Support. Tammy did have life insurance...Unfortunately, it barely puts a dent in her medical bills. The state/Police fund is assisting with the hospital bill up to 44%. Tammy's husband has a retirement fund from his previous career...It amounts to just under $200K. Tammy did have medical coverage...with Obamacare. Tammy's son had his appendix burst just months prior to Tammy's murder. Thus her sons surgery depleted the medical insurance fund...leaving only $6K left for the rest of the family for the year. So, with the math above...Bob Meyers needs to find $440K to pay for his wife's medical bills.

Good point about the aimless driving, Miss Muffet. I was just struck by the distance they actually drove and that Mystery Car was so quick to zero in on them.

I too would love to see the phone records, including texts!
