He is the one shown in that video following their car then following them to their home. If that is his story, he has no case.

Driving on the same road is not a crime. How do we know the son didn't shoot first?

I don't recall this being posted to the thread. Apologies if it has:

Police: Nowsch claimed gun was pointed at him before he fired - FOX5 Vegas - KVVU
According to the report, Nowsch told his friends that the green car began following the silver car that he was riding in, and then he saw a gun being pointed from the window of the green car. He then loaded his gun and started shooting at the green car. The green car fled, Nowsch said, and he and his friend followed it. Nowsch said that when the green car stopped at a house, he began firing at it and at someone who was running into the home.

Cimarron is not off of Westcliff on the map I looked at, and Westcliff has a big bike lane, which is why I said if. I'm a little confused on the details of the path they took.

Cimarron and Westcliff cross each other :)

I bet this is true. I just do. It sounds reasonable.

From what the suspect told his friends, he doesn't even allege anybody shot at him.

And so what? As his own story goes, he follows the car to the home and shots at the person in the car. That's not self-defense. You don't have a right to follow someone to another location and shoot them.

NO, They went out looking for him. I still believe that there is way more to this story. He can drive anywhere he wants. If the son raised the gun first, Then he had a right to pull his and fire.
There is a no retreat law in LV.

Did he have a legally registered gun? No? Then he has no right to pull anything and fire.
But even if he could argue self-defense if he fired after someone pointed a gun at him, he can't follow that person to their home and shoot and kill them, after they are running away from him. It's not how self-defense works.

That is your opinion, That is fine. But if Tammy went out looking for him with an armed son, That changes things.
If the son drew his gun first, that is a problem too.
The problem with this is that If TM had just gone inside and called 911 and told him that the guy WHOM SHE KNEW was following her and threatening her, She would still be alive.
I think she bares some responsibility here for the events that occurred. Does she deserve to be dead? No. But had she not been all gangster about going to find him, Most likely she would be alive.
Tell me, Anyone here, Would you go get you armed son and go looking for someone who was involved in a road rage thing?
My guess, NO, is the answer.
I don't believe anything this family says at this point. I don't believe this guy is innocent but I think there are way more questions than answers and that this family is a little not all there.

Family admitted that after what they perceived as "road rage" they went out looking for the car. Was it stupid?
Yes. But that doesn't give the suspect the right to follow them home and kill Tammy.
It sounds like he was following their car first, in what they thought was road rage, and then after they went looking for him, he shot at them, then followed them home and shot again. He doesn't have a right to follow someone and shoot them, after they are no threat to him.

HE didn't need to follow her home if he knew her. I still think this is something more. Do I think he should be prosecuted for killing her? Yes, But I don't believe that this will turn out at all like is being reported. There has been so many changes in the family story and I don't believe their accounts. I don't think I believe the driving lesson thing either. I think there is more to this. Much more.

I am confused somewhat by this article. It reads like shots were fired when he cut Tammy off when the driver got out and threatened them. Maybe I am just not comprehending it correctly.

Police said the green vehicle was being used for a driving lesson for Meyers' 15-year-old daughter.

Citing friends of the suspect, police stated Nowsch had a friend drive him and follow the green vehicle that had Meyers behind the wheel. Police said at some point Nowsch stopped the vehicle in front of Meyers, got out and fired a handgun at Meyers' vehicle. Nowsch sped off.

Police said Meyers then dropped off her daughter at home and pressed her 22-year-old son to come along and find the vehicle involved in the incident. Meyers told her son to bring his handgun, police said.

Meyers and her son were able to locate the vehicle just nearby. The pair then returned to their home, where a vehicle followed them. Police said shots were fired at the Meyers residence, where the 44-year-old mother was shot in the head.

Erich Nowsch, the 19-year-old suspected of shooting and killing a Las Vegas woman earlier this month, made his initial appearance in court Monday after his arrest last week.

Now I am even more confused...the news article says he 'shot at Tammy and her daughter during the driving lesson, then they drove home and got the son and a gun and went after him?'

(trying to remember if I've heard this version before.) When was the accident that knocked the stripping off the Meyers tuna-boat car and didn't leave any other damage?

I think it is another sign of all the stories that people are telling in this case. I don't remember anything so convoluted except the JA ninja story..

This is nuts.

And, on an interesting sidenote the baby faced suspect has one rather bad-ar$e attorney...lol....he is a mixed martial arts fighter for fun....as if this case needed any other sideshow to sell it...
