Thing I don't see about a drug transaction is : why would Trevor place himself in such a dangerous position to get drugs ? No cell phone.No car to get out in a hurry if he needed to. And why in such a far off location ? I'm sure he could have scored drugs closer to home ? Makes no sense at all.
I googled construction corruption cases in LV in 2006-2007. There was a major undercover criminal investigation going on at that time, involving fire code violations in several construction jobs around town. An identified electrician (not Trevor) blew the whistle. Your theory of WPP is not unlikely. He would not have been allowed to take his gun to his new location, but might have tried to do so out of fear. To me, this would be the best case scenario ....

I agree - it doesn't make sense. If he is in WPP (a theory posted on the MS page), all the searching in the world won't find him. Nor should it. If he's in hiding, there's a good reason for it.

The problem with the WPP theory is that he would have to have been a witness to something. I would think the family would have known something along those lines before he disappeared. Also, I could be wrong, but a witness usually is called upon to testify somewhere, either past or future. I don't think he would have been in Vegas long enough to have gotten to any rotten core of any construction corruption.

He could have given key information to investigators who were building a case, and not be called on to testify. Possible that he did not tell his family. But, I doubt that this would have required the WPP to be employed. In the fire code violation case there was an actual witness who knew a lot, and he was publicly identified.
The drug scenario might make more sense if he was dealing to the other construction workers on the job site(s). That would put him at a much higher risk level, IMHO. Much more money involved.
I think it is key that he was looking to go back to Texas.

I didn't mean any disrespect when I said Trevor looked tough. I meant that he looked like he could take care of himself in most situations, including ones that would make me hide and whimper. If something happened to him, it would have to be something quite out of the ordinary.

One thing I notice when I plot that address in Googlemaps -- that little shopping strip is right off what appears to be a major exit on a major highway. If he and his friend were going somewhere, and the friend was driving, it makes perfect sense that he would take a cab to the meeting place rather than park a car he cared about in a public place. And it would be easy for his friend to pull off the highway, pick him up, and get back on.

One problem with Trevor's pictures is that he had so many different looks. So much so that if I did not know, I would think some of them were different people. So if he is floating around somewhere, no one would be able to figure out which look he is sporting.

IF he was in WPP, he wouldn't be "missing".
His family would have been notified...so they wouldn't be looking for him; they'd also be able to communicate through a governmental go-between.

Guys - I don't have the capability of bringing the map here, but go to Google Maps and enter 3800 Town Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV. Is it possible that the RC Willey store is where he's last seen? It's surrounded by desert - but NOT Red Rock Canyon. To get to RRC, you would have to go north to Charleston Blvd. and then west.

I really wonder where they conducted the searches for Trevor.

difficult to do a search when by all appearances he was waiting for a ride to an undisclosed location with an unknown person.

Well, look at everybody over here now!

Something everyone should remember: If you are looking at a Google Map of the S. Town Center area, it did not look like that in 2007. As I stated over on the Steven thread, there was some construction going on. The exit/entrance ramps to Town Center were being built, that whole area was nothing but a construction zone at that time. Fairy1 lives here as well. She may be able to offer more insight into the situation of that area at the time. It just seems to me that if Trevor started walking SW on Town Center from 3800 S. Town Center he was walking right into a construction zone.
