New in the Doe Network and also being investigated by Moxxy Forensics. As some people know, for the past three years, I've been in contact with Alice's granddaughter to help try to have her case listed and investigated, and I'm so glad that it's finally happened. I'm not sure where the next place to go in terms of talking about this case is, since I have a lot of stuff I was told that I don't have a proper source for, and Alice's granddaughter has tried and unfortunately failed to make an account here. I remember it being something about her not getting the confirmation email or something, but it was years ago, so the details are muddy.

She's listed as "Patricia Alyce Morvillo" and "Alice Kelly Morvillo" on Moxxy and Doe Network, but I've listed her name as Alice Kelly here since that's what her granddaughter referred to her as when speaking to me.

Anyways, here's the links and case details:

Alice Kelly

Missing Since: April 24, 1953 (This date is the last known record, but there's been a bit of question on how accurate it is. Her family last saw her in 1945, I believe, and the last record before this one is the 1950 census.)
Missing From: Orange County, New York (We do know that in 1950, she lived in Newburgh.)
Sex: Female
Race: White
Age: 40 (in 1953)
Date of Birth: August 4, 1912
Hair Color: Red/Auburn
Eye Color: Blue/Hazel
Height: 5’5” (This is a very vague estimate Alice's granddaughter and I came up with when comparing her height to that of her sister,, I believe, who appears in the same photo. Take it with a grain of salt.)
Weight: Unknown
Distinctive Features: Possible freckles on hands/arms (I believe this was based on her family members having similar freckles)

Circumstances
Alice Morvillo was last seen on April 24, 1953, at her divorce proceeding in Orange County, New York. Since that date no verified records of Alice have been found, and there has been no contact with her family or evidence of her whereabouts after her court appearance.

I'm not sure how much more I can say without a source, so I'll leave it at that. Right now, I'm still just thrilled Alice is even listed as a missing person in the first place, since about a year ago, things were looking very dire.

Also, from what I can tell, work is being done to have her added to NamUs.

Some basic information. I do not know if granddaughter has this same info. According to Wiki tree, Ancestry.com and putting in Jack "John" Francis Morvillo they were married on 28-June-1941 in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Connecticut. (in the search engine). They had three children in Texas. Jacqueline who died as an infant in 1943 (Article Amarillo Daily News Friday Feb 10th 1943), Jack Francis Morvillo Jr. Born 22-April-1944 Webb, Texas he died in 2001. Dano?J Morvillo born 25-Sept-1945 Webb Texas. He is also deceased and a daughter Michele E. Morvillo born in 1947 in New York. Alice and the three children are listed in the 1950 census in New York living with Alice's father in law, but no listing for Jack. Jack was in the military (Air Force). He was a Pvt in Texas when Jacqueline was born. Jack died in 1996 in Utah and married his second wife Effie Archer on October 6th, 1953 in Reno, Nevada, but then lived in Utah. Alice's father James Kelly died in 1958 and Alice is listed as a surviving child living in Orange County. This is coming from Newspapers.com death notice for James Kelly has as I remembered was clipped. A confusing information from a family tree on Ancestry. The marriage says John Simone to Alice Kelly. Dates match other websites. I hope this help.
