Found Deceased NY - Anthony Blaauboer, 14, near Mohawk River, Waterford, 8 Aug 2018 *autistic*

14-yearr-old Anthony Blaauboer vanished Wednesday afternoon near the Mohawk River.

Blaauboer, who is autistic, reportedly disappeared near the 4th Street Bridge. Waterford police said searchers found unspecified pieces of clothing that belonged to Blaauboer.

Thursday afternoon the search focused on Peebles Island.

It's not clear if Blaauboer entered the water or wandered off.

Anthony, who also goes by Tony, is described as being 5-foot-8 with a slim build.

He went out for a walk yesterday but did not return. They say some of his belongings were recovered near the Mohawk River, including his shoes.

Investigators say 14-year-old Anthony Blaauboer's body was found around 5:45 p.m. Thursday, about 200 feet downstream from where his clothes were found.

The body was in about seven feet of water.
