I am so sorry..
Sending you a  right now, because I know that you need it.
Please know you did EVERYTHING in your power to find this young man, and you did everything right, ok? I know how this hurts, and if you need anything, send me a PM. Thinking and praying for all of you wonderful searchers who helped this family not only search, but just by being there, you gave them support- things that can't be measured in dollars.
I find along with sadness I am also angry and dismayed.
The Rochester Police Department is virtually next to this bridge. It seems like they could have literally just looked out their windows if a 911 call was made about someone on this bridge.
Gosh...This poor young man.
Brittanee Drexel's mother came to the vigil to remember Trevyan Rowe.

We made a mistake, said Rochester School Board President Van White. A grievous mistake. An unalterable mistake.
We are here for one reason and one reason only: to take responsibility for this young mans passing, he added. We are sorry.
During the news conference, school leaders admitted that at least three teachers marked Rowe present in class, when he was in fact absent. White added that the district has reason to believe that some staff members tried to alter attendance records after Rowe was reported missing.
...Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren said that "adult failures led to a young man's death in our community" in response to the investigation into the disappearance and death of Trevyan Rowe.
..Warren said that 911 dispatchers failed to follow protocol, which is to dispatch fire rescue and a scuba team after reports that Rowe had been seen near the river.
Acting 911 Director Stephen Cusenz said that multiple calls were made to report the sighting, but dispatchers did not update a log of the event. He added that a New York State Trooper responded to a sighting of Rowe near the Frederick Douglass Susan B. Anthony Bridge. When the trooper did not see Rowe, Cusenz said that dispatchers asked if firefighters should be dispatched. Cusenz said that the trooper called for a fire response, but firefighters were never dispatched to the river.
... six 911 employees have already been placed on administrative leave from their positions, pending the outcome of a full investigation.
