NY - Arrest made in Hamptons' hit-and-run that killed Netflix star Sara Burack, 40, on June 19, 2025

If the hit-and-run driver thought she hit a cone, and then when she arrived at her friend's house she found a suitcase under her car, then why didn't she call the police to report what happened? She obviously didn't hit a cone.

Seems she may have been impaired, despite her attorneys statement.

Sad update on the victim. Mental health issues, friends and family trying to help her and she refused it all.
How very sad that she wasn't able to get help for her mental health issues. Nonetheless, Sara Baruk was a victim of a hit-and-run crime, and she deserves justice.

She wasn't homeless. She was a top realtor for luxury properties.
Sara Burack sold luxury homes to the Hamptons’ wealthiest buyers — and even appeared on the Netflix reality show “Million Dollar Beach House” — but at her time of death last week, the golden girl, 40, was “homeless by choice” and suffering from mental health issues, despite an outpouring of family support, sources told The Post.

“She kept taking Adderall to stay awake and keep working,” White said, “She was trying to work longer and longer staying up for all types of hours.”

“She was staying in bank foyers,” said White, who confirmed that Burack had sold her car and condo last year.

“She wasn’t driving anymore. She didn’t lose her apartment, she sold it. She didn’t have financial problems at all,” he said. “She just didn’t want to deal with anything anymore.”

White added that Burack's family "never gave up" on her despite her declining mental state.

Very sad. I do hope, however, that her family gets justice for Sara and that the hit-and-run driver is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
