I’m losing track of previously posted articles, so my apologies if this is a repeat. Now 49 year old Maria Farmer’s art career was vengefully destroyed by Epstein and Maxwell. And he raped her 15 year old sister. She was 25 when she met Epstein.

The year after Farmer first met Epstein, he called her and said he wanted someone “to help him with acquiring art.” She agreed to take the job, which she says included both buying art and monitoring who came into his New York City apartment. During this time, she says she saw numerous young girls come to the house, some of them still wearing their school uniforms. She also claims she frequently saw Dershowitz there, and that he would sometimes go upstairs to where the girls were led.

That summer, Epstein arranged for Farmer to work on an art project at the Ohio mansion of his friend, billionaire businessman Leslie Wexner. At one point, Epstein and Maxwell came for a visit and sexually assaulted Farmer, she says in the affidavit.

“I fled from the room and called the sheriff’s office but did not get any response,” she wrote. “The Wexner’s security staff refused to let me leave the property. I pleaded with them and my father drove up from Kentucky to Ohio to help me. I was held against my will for approximately 12 hours until I was ultimately allowed to leave with my father.”

When Farmer returned to New York she was “terrified” of the pair, who she says repeatedly called her making threats. “Maxwell and Epstein contacted my art clients and individuals in the art community in an effort to ruin my art career,” she wrote. They “were successful and I was shut out of all art related opportunities.”

“Not long after that piece, he was introduced to Epstein, who had left Bear Stearns under a cloud and was broke.” From all I have read, my interpretation was JE left on his own to work to with billionaires. Cloud and broke is new angle. Maybe left to work with one billionaire, Wexner?

After her experience at Wexner’s, how did JE get her 15 yr old sister to fly with him to New Mexico? 15 yr old didn't know about sisters experience at Wexners? Her father let her go???

The "furious feeding frenzy" is an excuse to keep the docs sealed? Not in my opinion.

There is interest in the story because people are outraged. And they are outraged because the claims about how GM procured girls for sex are concerning (to put it mildly).

I don't think crimes should be hidden because the media and public want them exposed to the light of day. If she were an innocent bystander caught up in the coverage, I could understand her request to keep the document sealed. But she's not an innocent bystander, imo.

Boy, that's the truth! I'm reading along quietly, but this story just turns my stomach. It was very upsetting to read that after Farmers sexual assault, her 15 year old sister was allowed to go to Epstein's NM property.

replying to myself after reading the article again.

I'm not sure the 15yo's NM trip was after the 25yo's OH trip. The article just says "that same summer" and that the 25yo found out later what happened to her 15yo sister.

I'm thinking the 15yo didn't say anything to her family about JE's behavior until after the 25yo's encounter, when she told her family.

Just a guess.

I've been curious what the young teens told their parents about flying on a plane out of state - what was the story that made that okay with the parents? I guess the women procurers pretended to be chaperones??

The more I read, the more I feel that JE is the sick, front man from Coney Island. Nothing makes logical sense. All these powerful, monied, political, international, social register, academic players. And this guy.

I was just returning to post the same thing! A few possibilities...It’s possible Maria’s sister didn’t know about her experience at Wexner’s and of course Epstein hadn’t done anything to Maria so the father may have not made a connection. Maria knew that Epstein saw a lot of young girls ostensibly for modeling interviews, and she thought it was weird. But she probably never imagined what was going on and may not have known about the trip ahead of time. Maxwell was the common denominator in both assaults.

I do think people (even parents) are seduced by the idea of their kids hanging out with rich people and have poor judgement.

He might not have anything on Wexner, but a partnership. The mansion certainly gave the appearance that JE was filthy rich. It might have been a prop, rather than a bribe.

By my definition, he did give it to Epstein.

Editor’s note: Epstein lived part-time in Wexner’s Manhattan mansion since at least 1996. In 2001, the property was transferred to Epstein for $0. Epstein signed the documents for both parties.

I'm loathe to point fingers at someone just cause they crossed paths or were in a photo etc. BUT when it happens repeatedly etc that's a different story,

Guilt by association sticks easily when we hear rumors fly re this or that person. On other social media, the trolls are out, spreading vicious stories about persons who may have been in the same room with Epstein. However, ongoing contact, especially visits to that horrific island, cannot be dismissed so easily.

What is going in the USVI? Has LE searched it yet?
