IANAL, but regarding the BBM: I haven't read anything about JE's estate being placed in an irrevocable trust (which I believe protects an estate against creditors).

Here's what the NYT has reported:

The former hedge-fund manager put all of his holdings in a trust, called The 1953 Trust in court papers, after the year he was born.

“It’s pretty boiler-plate — it’s what we call a ‘pour-over will,’ which means everything pours over to a trust,” a city estate lawyer told The Post. “It’s done that way for privacy reasons.

I hope his victims are able to sue his estate for damages - and I hope they're able to win, regardless of how he may have tried to protect his holdings.
I'd guess that if it was revocable to start with, it became irrevocable upon his death.

They wont get any money from a trust. That’s the point. My money has been growing in a trust since I was born.

That money is divorce proof, lawsuit proof, everything proof. The trustee has to sign off on all purchases.

No the trust being irrevocable has nothing to do with his death. My CPA handles my trust but if my trust was revocable than my father and grandfather could’ve taken the money back if I didn’t do certain things.

Irrecoverable trust refers to the money not being able to be taken away.

If I need a new car I have to ask the CPA for money. If I want a Ferrari he will laugh. If I want an Accord that’s cool. It’s basically a way for wealthy parents to pass money on to kids in a responsible way.

I suppose it can be used nefariously in this case.

You can have an irrevocable trust while alive, and if you do, it stays irrevocable even upon death, as in your case. But if a person creates a revocable trust while living (they can take the money away) it becomes irrevocable upon their death (they can no longer take the money away) unless other provisions are specifically made.

  • The New York Times reports that late, accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein spent his final days trying to use his wealth to manipulate his circumstances inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center, leading up to his death by suicide.
  • Epstein avoided spending time in his cell by paying lawyersto visit him in a private meeting room for up to 12 hours a day, emptying vending machines at the facility during periods of legal counsel.
  • The financier and convicted sex offender also deposited money in other inmates' commissaries to avoid their attention and seemingly devised a way to hang himselfwithout drawing attention in the understaffed facility.
Epstein's last days were spent emptying vending machines with his lawyers in a private meeting room, avoiding suicide watch, and paying other inmates' commissaries

Sounds like he was manic.
At least he felt a fraction of the powerlessness he inflicted on all his victims.

Here’s how Alan Dershowitz, famed attorney and one-time Martha’s Vineyard shunnee, has responded so far to coverage of his connections to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. First, there was the July Newsmax op-eddenouncing a New Yorker piece about his relationship with Epstein. Then, the 80-year-old — who once helped the late billionaire and accused pedophile secure a lax plea deal from Florida prosecutors, and currently stands accused of having sex with two of Epstein’s alleged trafficking victims — decided to share his thoughts about lowering

And Now, an Update on Alan Dershowitz

His current position on the topic, from the article. It would be very interesting to see whether Dersh is featured in any of the pics or recordings.

From the link:

Dershowitz stands by his argument today, tweeting earlier this week that “if a 16 year old has the constitutional right to have an abortion without state or parental interference, how could she not have the constitutional right to engage in consensual sex?”

Because he likes underage teens that's why. He is a sex addict.

I think, because after all , he is an old guy and would not get the same arousal from a 35-year old as he would from a 15-year old.

Nature is quite cruel to men in this way. Every year, the level of testosterone falls by 2%, so there is 40% less testosterone in a 40-year old than in 20-year old. After 50, it is noticeably worse.

Is finding a 15-year old girl and having sex with her, trying to feel like a 15-year-old himself, a crime? Epstein’s men would say, not, because the women are not children, but essentially, very young adults, and somewhere in the Middle East be long married off and already with a bunch of kids.

In our society, sex with a consenting underage girl is a crime. Period. But even if it is weren’t...

I assume, it will still be sexual exploitation because Epstein’s girls got nothing in return.

Even if it is a very mature 15-year old who absolutely knows what she is doing, the initial context of the relationship with Epstein is not favoring her. She does not have the opportunity to bring her own lawyer and negotiate a contract, stipulating what services she is providing, and what is the expected reimbursement. It is Mr. Epstein with Mr. Dershowitz (or any other high-power lawyer) who offer the contract with non-disclosure clauses, and other clauses protecting Mr. Epstein. The girl is expected to sign herself into sexual slavery (because catering to the sexual needs of an aging, experienced male is slavery, IMO). And in return, she does not get the contract protecting her rights. Now these girls suing Epstein’s estate have to prove to the world that they are not liars, and that their lives now are much worse because of their association with Mr. Epstein and his cronies.

I understand that their lives are much worse, it goes without saying, but to the world, they have to prove it.

...They say that the prototype for Nabokov’s “Lolita” was Lita Grey, Charlie Chaplin’s second wife. She was governed by her avaricious mother, and she was impregnated by Chaplin when she was 15, around 1921, and had two boys with him. Their divorce was the scandal of their times, and she negotiated the divorce settlement of 825 000, the highest in that time. Her promised career did not take off. But at least she had the money, and Chaplin took care and interest in his sons.
https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1995-12-30-mn-19327-story.html?_amp=true

What did the “Epstein girls” get from the association, except for $300 a massage (he was paltry, Epstein was), and being pimped out to some of his rich cronies that just used them?

What did they lose from being with Epstein? Well, catering to the sexual whims of an old guy is not fun. But they probably missed school in the process. No good colleges, no future chances in life. Instead, their education was “to learn everything about satisfying a man”.

They were cast away from Epstein’s life without any remorse.

So even if these girls willingly entered the relationship, there was no contract guarding their interests, with such provisos as getting pregnant, or getting an STD from him. And fair compensation for their time.

This is in addition to the fact that they were legally minors, and their brains were screwed up my Mr, Epstein and Ms. Maxwell.

Jean-Luc Brunel gave Jeffrey Epstein three poor 12-year-old triplets from France as birthday present | Daily Mail Online
  • High-profile Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre described the sadistic birthday present in unsealed court documents from a 2015 lawsuit
  • She said the millionaire bragged about paying to have the 12-year-old girls, believed to be sisters, flown in from France for one day
  • The gift allegedly came from Epstein's longtime friend Jean-Luc Brunel
  • Epstein invested $1million to help launch Brunel's Miami-based modeling firm MC2, in return for a 'supply of girls on tap', the suit claims
  • Brunel allegedly supplied illegitimate visas for underage girls from foreign countries and Epstein housed them at his brother's apartment in Manhattan
  • The model scout, 72, has denied all involvement in Epstein's alleged crimes

Boris Nikolic, a biotech venture capitalist, distanced himself from his inclusion in Epstein’s will, filed Monday in St. Thomas.

“I was not consulted in these matters and I have no intent to fulfill these duties, whatsoever,” Nikolic told Bloomberg in a statement.

Nikolic is listed as a “successor executor” of Epstein’s estate should the executors, longtime Epstein employees Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn, be unable to fulfill their roles.

The extent of Epstein and Nikolic’s relationship isn’t clear but a source told Bloomberg that Nikolic funded more than a dozen gene-editing businesses after splitting from Gates in 2014 and controlled a $42 million stake in one gene company, Editas Medicine Inc.

Nikolic, 49, was excited about financial advice Epstein, a former hedge-fund manager who was obsessed with genetic research, shared with private bankers ahead of Editas’ public offering, the source told Bloomberg. Nikolic was part of a broad network that overlapped with Epstein, Nikolic’s spokeswoman said

Mysterious French modeling agent, accused Epstein 'procurer' whereabouts unknown as probe continues

Mysterious French modeling agent, accused Epstein 'procurer' whereabouts unknown as probe continues

“The United States only has jurisdiction over crimes that have a clear nexus to the United States. If charges are filed against Brunel, he may avoid extradition if the alleged crimes are not criminal where he resides,” California-based criminal defense attorney Troy Slaten said. “A good example of this is Roman Polanski who avoided extradition because France did not consider the conduct criminal.”

Shame on France.

JE’s entire -exit- is typical narssist method of operation .
He, in his mind becomes -the victim- thus blame shifts, gives(permanent)silent treatment, punishes, has the last word, delivers the last gotcha.
Ego fuel that he was tricking the system. Actor in his own sick movie.
Final act.. a la locking money & property in a trust vault.

Ghislaine Maxwell once taught one of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers “the proper way” to perform oral sex just how he liked, a new lawsuit claimed.

The British socialite allegedly gave the victim, Priscilla Doe, a “step-by-step” tutorial during a meeting at the convicted pedophile’s island, Little St. James, in 2006, according to Priscilla’s lawsuit filed Tuesday in Manhattan federal court.

Ghislaine, Epstein’s gal pal and alleged madam, used her own hands “to demonstrate how to pleasure Jeffrey Epstein manually so that plaintiff would know exactly how to make Jeffrey Epstein happy,” the complaint said.

Maxwell provided other graphic advice on “stimulation” and “pressure” — and eventually made sure that Priscilla and other young women were “constantly on call to sexually service” Epstein, according to the filing.

Hefner liked them legal age and full of fillers and silicone...., very air-brushed. Kind of fantasy perfect girls. JE wanted control and power over young women who couldn't fight back, or who could be bought off with very little. Very vulnerable young girls.

I think JE would be very distainful of Hefner.

JE doesn't think that sex with underage women should be prohibited. And, if he gave them money and they accepted, then they deserved condemnation because they were "prostitutes".

He's an abuser and a manipulator of an extremely high level we don't often get to see. And a huge narcissist - sociopath. It's more evident after his first conviction that he had no remorse and was not going to change his ways at all.

How those around him could claim to be ignorant of this is not credible
