He's suing Murdoch? Wow.

I hope Murdoch counter-sues. Trump shouldn’t be allowed to abuse our legal system and intimidate innocent people with these nuisance lawsuits.

Trump Just Threw Pam Bondi and Kash Patel to the Wolves on Epstein

WASHINGTON, July 23 (Reuters) - A U.S. judge on Wednesday denied a U.S. Justice Department bid to unseal grand jury transcripts related to the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in South Florida, the first ruling in a series of attempts by President Donald Trump's administration to release more information on the case.
The request stemmed from federal investigations into Epstein in 2005 and 2007, according to court documents. The Justice Department has pending requests to unseal transcripts in Manhattan federal court related to a later indictment brought against Epstein and his former associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

Bondi, Patel, and Bongino have been lying through their teeth for months it seems. JMO.

The biggest name in Jeffrey Epstein’s birthday book back in 2003 was a past president rather than a future one.

The leather-bound album—assembled before Epstein was first arrested in 2006—included a page with a single paragraph in Clinton’s distinctive scrawl:

It’s reassuring isn’t it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible word], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends.

A spokesman for Clinton declined to comment on the birthday message, which was reviewed by the Journal. He referred the Journal to a previous statement that the former president had cut off ties more than a decade before Epstein was arrested in 2019 and didn’t know about Epstein’s alleged crimes.

The former president was among around five dozen people, including Donald Trump, Wall Street billionaire Leon Black, fashion designer Vera Wang and media owner Mort Zuckerman, who ended up with letters in the 2003 book, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal…

The submission with Leon Black’s name had a handwritten poem with a rhyme scheme. The poem included the acronym “V.F.P.C.” with an asterisk that said it stood for “Vanity Fair Poster Child,” a reference to a magazine profile of Epstein that was in the works.

Two lines in the poem read:

Blonde, Red or Brunette, spread out geographically

With this net of fish, Jeff’s now ‘The Old Man and The Sea’

It was signed: “Love and kisses, Leon.”

Five things you probably didn't know about Epstein's plea deal.

And now, we see all these missing pieces. Never to be assembled again, most likely.
This was Florida, of course. These things happen all the time.
Jay Tapper did not mention any of the names.
Trump certainly knew all of this as well.... and back then, he would not have had to cover himself as a President, or even a candidate for President.

I DO wonder if a number of these people involved, were the same people involved in the Florida Presidential debacle of 2000. just my forever opinion of course.

@Tom_Winter

Here’s the timeline:- May 2007, federal prosecutor submits a draft 60 count indictment against Epstein.- NPA was signed instead in September 2007.- After exhausting his legal efforts Epstein fulfills NPA obligations in June 2008.
The Congressman is also inaccurate to say that additional files can’t be released because a judge needs to unseal them.

IMO
Trump very easily could have had one of the talented ones on his staff draw the female image and who knows who was involved in writing the birthday message.

Bottom line though is there's no way in hell it wasn't approved by Trump before being sent off to Maxwell, including if a staffer signed it and not Trump.

What's that old saying? Follow the money? This is an interesting list of where to "follow the money."

With so much lying going on it's hard to know what to believe.
Do you believe the U.S. Justice Department and FBI's findings about Epstein's death will change public opinion?
If we don't believe the DOJ or FBI then all we're left with are conspiracies and some of those might be lies.
So what's the answer and how do the Epstein victims get justice?
We have a government that actively promotes lies and seeks to suppress inconvenient truth comprehensively - employing all the authoritarian tools.

The truth about sex trafficking is in the files. I say, let's see them: all of them, with the names and faces of the victims blocked. That shouldn't be so hard.

Who is the administration protecting? Bill Clinton? Prince Andrew? I say, charge them if the evidence is there. But let us see the evidence so we know it's not a "witch hunt".

Seems like it's more than sex trafficking (though that, of course, is a horrible offense). I don't think the amount of money that's been transferred and the amount of protection of names is because of sex with teens. (Again, this is not to diminish the serious offensive of SA.)

Could be, though.

I can't wait for Murdoch to start sending subpoenas and demanding documents. Murdoch may end up as the hero who got ALL the Epstein files, and deposed all the Epstein clients. His right to discovery in a civil proceeding is very broad. It is not limited to relevant and admissible evidence in the case.

And he has the resources to fight until TRUMP says, "uncle".

And Murdoch owns the NYPost, which he can (and does) use to whip up right-wing opinion on how to handle the Epstein files.

Still, a prediction is that years from now, this will not be any further along.

I’m glad to see one of my Oregon senators pursuing this with Pam Bondi. Unfortunately, since the DOJ is no longer independent, I expect she’ll ignore this letter if Trump tells her to…and he most likely will.

Agree, but it's now officially requested as I understand it. That might be best "transparency" we get - to know what was brought up and what was ignored.
