Just in: A federal judge DENIES the Trump administration's request to unseal Jeffrey Epstein's grand jury materials in SDNY.

Judge Berman says the feds' move to unseal grand jury minutes seems to be a "diversion" to distract from Trump not releasing the more voluminous Epstein files."The government's 100,000 pages of Epstein files and materials dwarf the 70 odd pages of Epstein grand jury materials."

When did the American public know that Nixon was committing crimes? It's pretty simple really. It's when Nixon refused to release the tapes.

The American public is onto Trump and his refusal to release the Epstein files.

Agreed it needs to come out however....we need to be extremely careful of protecting innocent victims, and names associated with the case who may have zero knowledge or guilt in the case, allowing the internet to just fly with stuff for anyone listed.

There were a LOT of people who went to Diddy's parties and they aren't all pedos and rapists are they?
AREN'T they?

House Oversight Chair James Comer said Monday that Alex Acosta, who led the Labor Department from 2017 to 2019, has agreed to sit for a transcribed interview with the panel on Sept. 19.

@jkbjournalist

I reviewed some of the 33,000 pages last night. Of note is how many of those pages are simply DUPLICATES of the same (old) reports — page after page, in order to make it APPEAR that this a a big document dump. This has repeatedly happened as @miamiherald has fought over the past six years to unseal Epstein files. It also happened during the original prosecution of Epstein in 2007. This tactic is a recurring effort to deceive the public.

Federal investigators first contacted Lacerda in 2008, but Epstein secured a controversial and once-secret non-prosecution agreement with federal prosecutors before she could tell a grand jury about her allegations of childhood sex abuse. Investigators returned to Lacerda more than ten years later, using her experiences to build a case that charged Epstein with sex trafficking minors in New York.

According to the indictment, Lacerda first met Epstein when she was 14 years old in 2002 when she was recruited to come to his palatial New York home to provide a massage to Epstein -- an interaction that ultimately led to years of sexual abuse.

"His house was a revolving door. There was always girls," Lacerda told ABC News. "If he was in New York, he had his week prepped to see as many girls as possible. I would say he was seeing about five to maybe eight women, maybe even more, maybe up to ten women a day."

The Miami Herald has joined an effort by The New York Times asking a judge to unseal financial records from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate in the U.S. Virgin Islands…

Christopher Allen Kroblin, the lawyer representing Epstein’s executors, filed a letter opposing unsealing the reports, arguing that it would place a safety risk upon “innocent third parties” who have conducted transactions with the estate.

One of the enduring mysteries about Epstein is why so many rich and powerful men risked their reputations by continuing to spend time with him after he was registered as a sex offender. Did they value his advice? Consider him a friend? Like tapping into his network? Or was it about sex with the young women who always seemed to be around him?

At least with Staley, the answer might have been all of the above. While Epstein was under house arrest in November 2009, Staley visited his sprawling Zorro Ranch in New Mexico, where girls and young women later accused Epstein of raping and trafficking them. (Epstein also discussed using the desert compound as a venue for inseminating women in order to seed the human race with his DNA.) Staley emailed Epstein while sipping white wine in the hot tub. “Next time, we’re here together,” he wrote. “I owe you much.” Other messages were littered with apparent sexual references. “That was fun. Say hi to Snow White,” Staley emailed in 2010. Epstein responded by asking which character he would like next. “Beauty and the Beast,” Staley answered.

The apparent impunity alarmed Bridgette Carr, a law professor and human-trafficking expert whom the U.S. Virgin Islands hired after Epstein’s death to analyze JPMorgan’s role. Carr concluded that the bank enabled his crimes. “I am deeply worried here that the ultimate message to other financial institutions is that they can keep serving traffickers,” she told us. “It’s still profitable to do that, given the lack of substantial consequences.”
