A month after Brenda Halpin went missing, her family members are offering a reward, a minimum of $10,000, for any information that could help lead to her whereabouts.

Deputies say a man walking along the river bank spotted what appeared to be human remains behind a house in the 600 block of Chenango Street in the village of Port Dickinson...

Janis said investigators are taking into account the missing person from Chenango Bridge -- Brenda Halpin -- who was last seen on April 8. However, no other information will be released until an autopsy is performed on Wednesday.

Police have identified the body of the woman found in the Chenango River as 37-year-old Brenda Halpin, who had been missing since April 8 from her Chenango Bridge home...

During a news conference Monday, Sheriff David Harder said Halpin's disappearance had not been regarded as a criminal incident.
