Brian Jenkins agreed to leave his daughter's Hoosick Falls home. When he was sober he was so kind he would do anything for anybody. He would go months even years without drinking, but his depression would kick in and he would go right back."

It was April 18, 2015, when he checked himself into a substance abuse program at the Albany City Mission. Hours later he called his daughter asking her to pick him back up. "So I said I would pick him up in the morning." Brian texted her later saying he was down by the river in some woods. His mood seemed very low. When she called him back the next morning, it went straight to voicemail.

She later found out Brian visited the emergency room at Albany Med possibly for heart medication and a few days later and then checked himself out. That's the last time anyone ever saw Brian Jenkins including his daughter.
