Hope they release the age soon.

No, not really. There are so many good people in relation to the drug addicted who have been run out of other boroughs of the city. While I know what you are writing is probably tongue in cheek but this is an area I live near and work in so I take a bit of offense to the characterization. The Bronx citizenry on the whole hate the painting of their community as depraved drug addicted criminals (not saying that you are directly or indirectly saying this) as that is often the stories heard from the area. I can say that I know many people who are horrified at the actions of some of the transients and drug addicted.

They do, but Starr is 5'7-5'9 and 190 pounds. Not like most 15 year olds. She could be mistaken for a woman..

According to the NYPD, 15-year-old Starr Mineo was last seen on Monday, June 11 at around 7:15 a.m. inside a fast food restaurant near Second Avenue and 54th Street.

Mineo is described as an Hispanic female, 5’8″ and 190 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing an olive shirt and blue jeans, and she had a beige backpack.

(That Bronx was a bit different that the Bronx today)My first cat came from Fordham found in a garbage can at my best friends moms apartment building in 1993! She was my Bronx kitty I had her for 13 yrs. I still have friends that live there now and still take the train up there from time to time. Again if I offended you. I totally did not mean it. I love my city always have and always will

Only because of the closeness in time, I thought I'd mention woman's dismembered body found in Georgia recently. Possible traveling Serial killer? Maybe why he didn't care about the public place he left this one in the Bronx, because he moves around quickly?

Yes I thought the same thing.. I have been wondering if there were others. Brandy had been missing for months before her body parts were found. But you could still read her tattoo. Makes me wonder if she was held captive.. which could be the same situation as this UID... just thinking out loud.

This one is looking promising. She went missing on August 27th. I couldn't find an exact date this UID was found in the newsitems (or maybe I missed it) Do you know?
