NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A worker at Crotona Park made a gruesome discovery two bags turned out to be full of dismembered human body parts inside.

Police are now trying to figure out who it is and how it got there, reports CBS2’s Ali Bauman.

Sources say when a parks employee first noticed the bags on a sidewalk, he initially thought the smell was coming from a dead animal.

It wasn’t until his boss saw human hair inside that police were called.

Quite the understatement, imo.
"When police arrived to the scene, they found an unconscious and unresponsive individual."
"In bits."

Omg your right I remember omg that was in not too long ago! Great find cybervampira!! I forgot about that. I wonder if they are connected and I wonder if there are any other ones that have the same pattern. Wow
This post by Hatfield on the thread referenced above, ( the other woman who was dismembered) was interesting. Maybe applies to this case too, imo.

"Re BBM
I know the areas mentioned and this is a big clue IMO.

LE needs to focus in Brooklyn for the killer because of this part.

"was living in Queens, her mother said. She often visited her aunt and cousins in their apartment in the Bayview Houses in Brooklyn"

And her body was found in Brooklyn. Queens is a little ways away so this tells me the killer noticed her when she visited Brooklyn and the killer likely lives near Brooklyn.

When someone comes into the city streets of Brooklyn and does not necessarily live there then they are sometimes noticed. You can usually tell when someone is just visiting the blocks and not living there.

This tells me the killer noticed her and targeted her and he lives near Brookln.

JMO on this. I think its the first big clue IMO

NYPD investigates bags of human remains found in Crotona Park

"Very scary. It's scary. Especially with all these little kids out here running around. It's a scary sight,” a Bronx resident said.

“It bothers me because I have a lot of family and they mostly all is females so the first thing I thought about was my girls.

This is Crotona Park South and Clinton Ave, the location given in the news stories:

Google Maps

The Bronx is really not very near Brooklyn. It would take over half an hour to get from one to the other even at light traffic days. In rush hour it could be an hour or more.

Maybe it‘s not a person filed as missing at all or the perp disposed of the bags there because (s)he didn‘t want them in her/his neighborhood. I hope they will release more details on the UID soon.

Certainly possible and I didn't mean to imply it wasn't. Just wanted to make sure people who aren't familiar with the area know what the layout is.

I couldn’t find her listed on the NYPD page and no MSM follow-ups either.

They first thought the UID was a dead dog, so I wondered if it could be a child. I then found an 11-year-old missing from Brooklyn since 17th August and created a thread for her here:

NY - NY - Geanie Fearon, 11, Brooklyn, 17 Aug 2018
There is also a 12 year old girl missing from Queens also she is from April 2018 that is more than enough time to make it to the Bronx. Shelsy Zapata she is 5'5 and 150lbs

And another 12 yr old Amy Sacko Queens also she is 5'9 and 180lbs missing from Dec 2017.

And another one Melissa Robles 12 yrs old 5'0 110 lbs missing from Manhattan Sept 2017

Seems like a lot of 12 yr old girls are going missing no?
