Could she have fallen from somewhere up top in the shed? I am imagining a forbidden teacher liaison and her hiding up in the rafters and having a heart attack.

If not many kids were around and the shed wasn't used...her lover might have been the only one to find her but been too scared to call authorities.

That is an interesting thought.

I found this 52 year old woman, Virginia Domenech, missing since 1967. She’s not in any public database. She lived in Washington Heights at the time but was working at a children’s home in the Bronx. The only Hillside Children’s Home I found was in Rochester (which surely isn’t the one she worked at) so I’m not sure the exact address or it’s proximity to the elementary school the UID was found.

Her disappearance and the death of her daughter in Ireland is quite the rabbit hole.

Oh madmagoo what an Interesting find OMg.. it sounds like it could of been made into Film Noir Movie ha! Love it. I truly love reading all old newspaper articles they have so many details you don’t read ever anymore in news articles.

I read someone being 5’5 and 120lbs in the article but now don’t remember if it was the mother or the daughter.. but if it’s the mother it would match the 5’5 of the UID.

A woman that age in fishnet stockings strikes me as very odd.

What age? Are you talking about the 52 yo woman? If so, that doesn't strike me as odd at all at that age. Fishnets make you feel sexy and she wasn't too old to still enjoy herself. JMO

Tawdry to the point of being comical, like a character from a Rodriguez cartoon.
