Hah, yeah, good luck with that one! The drug abuser that was 7 years older than the minor, and hid her initially when police showed up at his door. He was charged with child endangerment. Have a hard time seeing the judge agreeing to this one!!

The judge did agree.

Chelsea also asked the judge to remove The Nicole Law, a court provision barring her from seeing Sheerer, which the judge agreed to.

If she was still 17, the judge probably wouldn't have agreed, but since she's a legal adult there's not much that can be done.
Wow! I'm shocked. She has extremely poor judgement in men, this guy is a predator. Don't see much hope of a future for her. And more: Chelsea is currently living with her birth mother, Deanna Micoley, who gave her up for adoption in 1997. "Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother," Rosie’s spokesperson, Cindi Berger, said in a statement to ET. "This was her choice." Poor Rosie...

In rebelling against Rosie, she's going to screw up her life. This guy and her birth mother don't care about her. They are both drug-abusers.:notgood:

Poor judgment in boys, experimenting in illicit things, and rebelling against mother who raised her---sounds like an extremely typical 18 year old girl to me--from time immemorial, rich or poor, privileged or not....

I think most do get their lives together and have fine futures so I wouldn't judge too harshly or worry too much.

The father of Steven Sheerer has been arrested and charged with hindering apprehension after he tipped off a man that his business activity was under investigation and charged with conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

The investigation revealed that Dennis Ayala was ordering anabolic steroids on the internet and having them mailed via USPS to his business. An ongoing criminal investigation revealed Steven Sheerer, 51 - who works at the U.S. Post Office - became aware of Ayala’s address being flagged for suspicion of illegal activity and warned Ayala. The investigation also revealed that Sheerer was aware of Ayala’s drug trafficking activity via USPS and facilitated this activity.

Chelsea was kicked out of the house two weeks before her 18th birthday, she says. "Rosie knew I was planning to leave, that's why I think she kicked me out," Chelsea, now 18, said. "She asked me to talk about what was going on and I didn't want to. So she asked for my phone and my computer. This was hours before she told me to leave. I gave them to her. A few hours later, she told me to leave. I wasn't planning to go until I turned 18 on the 24th. Rosie said that I was almost 18, and she got all this crap from work, and she didn't want to have to deal with that at home too."

Her mother "had two of my bags packed with clothes. Literally 10 minutes after the police had dropped me off at the house, I got in a car and went to a friend's house. I was there for a week and then on my 18th birthday my birth mom (Deanna Micolley) picked me up and I went to her home in Wisconsin."

Chelsea says she is currently living with Sheerer and his family. "I'm really happy to be here, and happier than I've been in years," she says.
