Cheyenne Cherry, 18, had nothing to say as Bronx Supreme Court Judge Margaret Clancy gave her two years for attempted burglary and one year for animal torture - to run concurrently.

She's also barred from owning a pet for three years...

Her younger accomplice got 18 months in a juvenile facility.

Very sad that burglary had the same sentence as roasting a live kitten in an oven

She should have received a much longer sentence on the animal abuse charge. I'm not sure anyone who could do that to an animal is "fixable." I wish she could have been barred from owning pets for life and, more important, barred from having children.

Why was she allowed a plea bargain with that level of disrespect to the court?
We will see her again...
She will give birth to a Shaniya, or Chance, or Caylee...
Or she will be the next Karla Homolka...
It's too bad being a violent sociopath isn't a death penalty offense.
