I keep coming back to this case whenever I have time, and each time the lack of any background information on Connie strikes me as strange. I've searched online yearbooks--from Linton and all other high schools in the county, since her older brothers went elsewhere--and I can only find her senior picture. She's listed as having been a student council alternate in 10th grade and guidance office aide in 12th grade. She does not appear in those group photos, not even listed under "not pictured" or "camera shy." Her parents got her declared as dead but there appears to be no memorial to her. She is not mentioned in either of her parents' obituaries. The only newspaper articles I've found while she was alive are related to her church. Outside of the article about her being declared dead, I haven't found anything regarding her disappearance, either. It is all just so strange.
