I am confused. It sounds like the BF was seen “partying” with her before her death “at night”. He says he left. He also says she had a business meeting until 1 am (after partying and on a boat? Hmmm) Yet he was back at the boat at 12. Did he ever actually leave? jmo
Where are people getting the info that the bf left? I'm not doubting it, but I have not read that, unless I missed it.

As far as I can tell, SHE went to a business meeting, but he remained on the boat after they returned from the other boat.

Please provide a link about the boyfriend leaving. tia.

Yes, she is beautiful, not at all looking like a person who has problems with drugs. Drug use is cruel, however. Our community has a drug awareness cemetery that can break a heart of stone.

But, of course she may have died from any number of other causes. I don't mean to cast shade on her name.
Maybe some ailment that few knew about?

Hmm, good question...

No, this info ^^ does not seem right.

This is the timeline I have, copying from what I posted earlier:

So TENTATIVE timeline:

Daytime: Having good time on boat. Nolan and boyfriend leave on another boat.
Night: Nolan and boyfriend return to The Ripple.
Late night: Business meeting. Told boyfriend she'd uber home at 1am.
Before midnight?: People heard noise and screaming, boyfriend woke them up
Midnight: Someone called 911. Local police officers arrive.
4am: County police called.
MOO The business meeting after they'd been partying and boat-hopping sounds hinky to me. Per the earlier link, the boyfriend said she called him to tell him she had a business meeting and would uber back at 1am. Why wouldn't she tell him about the meeting when they were together, rather than leaving without him then calling him later? If the boyfriend was screaming and waking people up around midnight, what's the relevance of the bf's statement about the uber?

"On Wednesday, a notice of her death had been filed by her husband’s attorney. He also requested that a judge be assigned to the case and proposed a financial settlement for the court."

from the link in quoted post

So, a husband has entered the chat. imo
Interesting! And in my linked story, it says "Nolan-O’Slattara — friends in Montauk said she wasn’t married, but used both of her family’s names — grew up in Monacurragh."

Yes, the night-time business meeting seems odd. It also was a late Monday night, so I'm thinking most of the people in the crowd work in jobs that are busy on weekends and Monday is like a day off? imo

They might be a crowd where night-time meetings are a normal way to socialize and make deals at the same time. And with the beautiful summer days in Montauk, I'm sure people would rather not meet during the day.

But, yeah, wish we had some answers about that meeting and who attended. And where.

This varies by restaurant (I'm assuming this "business meeting" was either in a bar or restaurant at that hour), but places in the Hamptons tend to close on Tuesday and/or Wednesday (if they're not open seven days). A lot of visitors out there love to stretch out their weekends. But yeah, something's up with this case.

''In 2022, she was sued by the founder of Out East Accessories Inc., owned by Jeremy Valeda. A court filing states: ‘Defendant Martha Nolan [O’Slattara] was a former employee of Out East, a company that specialises in the sale of its own branded sunglasses.''
Wow, if that’s true, then for some reason maybe she mistakenly thought herself to be invincible. I just read that some drug/s can slow the heart beat temporarily enough to be confirmed as deceased or even stop it permanently yet do not show up in toxicology tests. I mean recklessness gets us all in trouble often to an equal degree and yet other things are just unfortunate events or oddly timed accidents. My guess is that it is likely that we will never know for sure & that in the end, only God knows why.

Yeah, its as if the boyfriend and the guy on The Ripple are getting mixed around in the timeline of events somehow. Its very confusing & whose boat was next to the Ripple? Nothing is really clear, 2 boats with her and another guy or more than one but not sure which ones and one or both possibly considered boyfriend?

I'm not seeing the confusion but I think people might be reading different thing than I am.

Either way, that part will most likely eventually all be clear, in time.

So, looks like the uncontested divorce was finalized in April? Am I reading that right?

jmo

No. There were some proposed filings in April, but nothing is final here until you see the FINAL JUDGMENT OF DIVORCE. Also, it seems they were still working out the details of a financial settlement. JMO

ETA: They only filed on 3/7/24

General Timeline Estimates:
  • Uncontested Divorce: 3 to 6 months is a typical range.
  • Contested Divorce: 12 to 18 months or longer.

I really don’t want to speak ill of the dead, but are we sure she wasn’t escorting?

“Business meeting” on a Monday with a 60 year old man until 1am, and he started running around the marina naked yelling for help? Flying around on private planes and helicopters with an unknown bikini business that runs off a Shopify page? Maybe the boyfriend was rich, but this isn’t really adding up as “normal course of business”.

It’s also odd that some friends don’t know anything about a husband, yet she has one filing for divorce in court. It seems weird…

''In a shock twist, the family of the successful swimwear designer, is now considering hiring private detectives to speed up the investigation into Ms. Nolan O'Slatarra's death, according to The Sunday Times.

The Sunday Times spoke with a relative who challenged the perception that the 33 year-old fashion designer was a "party animal".

“Martha was a hardworking go-getter who achieved so much in her young life. She would be the first person in her group of friends to speak up about anyone taking illegal substances," said the devastated relative.

"Martha assured her boyfriend she would be back home by 1am — she even had an Uber pre-booked.''

So are there two men?
She told boyfriend (man #1) she was at a business meeting, when in reality she was with man #2 on a boat?
I'm also confused
