I have a strong suspicion that SH and NV are on some other sinister websites... With "undercover" names...

Prevented future abuse. That says nothing about the past. Not that it's our right know if these girls were abused. I am just hoping for a really clear statement from them that they were not. Hoping and praying they weren't!

Prevent future abuse of some other victims these two suspects would have presumably kidnapped in the future. It sounds like the two already kidnapped girls were abused, according to today's show.

I had actually thought of this...

That the Stin*sons called LE while they were feeding and/or taking the girls home...

JMO

I would think they would have mentioned calling LE during the interview. Especially since they said the girls saw the kidnapper's car during the drive, I find the idea of police escort extremely unlikely. Wouldn't police stop the car with the suspects if they were driving by?

The pic on May 8th is at an aquarium in Mass. He was in Jax Florida in June and there are pics on her fb of swimming with dolphins from 2013. It concerns me that they seem to travel a lot. This may not be the first time that this has happened.

Yep... The traveling a lot was interesting to me, too...

I hope LE are checking all those places he pinpoints on FB for any reports of child abduction attempts, etc...

Could they have had a little 'ring' of sickos and maybe the female perp thought she was ' studying' the details of it and thus it's all in the name of ' science' or ' psychology' and she didn't look at it as a crime OR she intends for her defense to say she didn't look at it as a crime? Totally moooo and speculative.

Wouldn't photographing a semi-clothed or naked person against her will be considered assault? Or forcing someone to watch or witness something of a sexual nature? I'm trying to be sensitive with this. Couldn't someone be assaulted without necessarily being physically harmed?

BBM

For the sake of those young girls, let's hope that was all it was. Not trying to downplay being exposed to something or having pics taken,as that is wrong and also damaging ; just that those girls went through alot from the kidnapping alone.
I say put those (bleeping bleeps) in jail for the rest of their lives. Otherwise someone else's child may be harmed in the future.
Some "types" do not change or become 'rehabilitated' ; and these two losers probably fit into that category.
Glad the girls are alive---I would not say they are "unharmed", though !

"...Wells said the sisters are in “good health.”..."

Maybe physically unharmed, but hopefully those girls get any help they need !

I'm glad this is getting so much national attention. This way these 2 will get jail time. The judicial system here is pretty lax on convicting criminals. There is an accused murderer walking the streets of Potsdam right now. His name is Nick Hillary.

probably coincidental...

but isn't the pet grooming place NV worked at in Potsdam?

The more information that continues to come out on this story the more I believe it was a miracle that these sweet girls made it out and rescued themselves! If multiple people and victims are involved you wouldn't think any of the suspects would allow an escape to be so easy. I'm still a little unclear if they escaped or if they were just dropped off. Either way it's a miracle!!! :heartluv:

Unwanted touch is considered assault. If you gently took someones' hand against their will, it is legally assault, with or without injury. ( ie: assault WITH injury is a more serious crime than assault) Actually spitting on someone is assault without ever physically laying a hand on them.

A northern New York couple arrested in the kidnapping of two young Amish sisters may have planned to abduct more children, authorities say.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/08/1...-in-amish-girls-kidnapping/?intcmp=latestnews

I believe this couple's outline activity will play heavily into any future prosecution. I also believe, as others have said, that these two may have linked up online due to shared "interests". I looks like NV is planning on the Karla Homolka/Hedda Steinberg "I was abused, had low self esteem" defense. Grrrr. All MOO

The couple who took the girls home did an interview and explained all of their decisions....there is a link somewhere....searching....

So glad for a good ending as we get so few with these types of cases. What were they planning to do to these girls?

Lock them up and throw away the key!
