The indictment states that the 3rd victim is known to the grand jury, so somehow they identified her.

Having photos and video available doesn't necessarily give them an identity though. It's not like they can put the picture in the paper and say "do you know her?" Just makes me wonder if the scumbags decided to cooperate or if this little one was familiar to them in a way that her identity was in the home in other ways or if her parents went to the police.

I have actually seen that done, in a way. Several years ago there was a case in Vegas I believe where LE needed the public's help to ID the child. They didn't show her face but they showed other images of her (something like a shirt she was wearing or some other identifiable clothing item, I can't recall exactly) and everything else in the still frame was blocked out. For me, it was brutal to even look at that since I *knew* where the image came from. I honestly don't think LE should ever do that, and don't recall any other case where it's been done (that made the national headlines, anyway).
