Girl, 14, reported missing from West Brighton, NYPD says
The girl most recently was seen in the vicinity of West Street and Castleton Avenue.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police asked for the public’s help on Friday to locate a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a month from her home in West Brighton.
Georgina Manneh most recently was seen at her residence in the vicinity of West Street and Castleton Avenue on July 24 at about 11:30 p.m. She was reported missing to police two days later, according to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.
Police described the girl as standing about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing about 100 pounds, with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes.
A photo of the girl was provided to the media by the NYPD.
