NY - Giraffe Watch: April, 15, due to give birth at Animal Adventure Park #2

Somebody posted days ago that livestock streamline when calf is preparing for birth. Sorry I cant remember who it was and they were not sure it was same for Giraffe's but it seems it might be?

I just received a text from AAP with a link to "exclusive" photos. There's a pic of her belly, a pic of her udders...not unlike many photos we have seen on their FB page. I think this was more of a test than anything, and from looking at the comments on FB a lot of people are having trouble getting the link to load. Sounds like the system is basically crashing.

It also says "Massive mammory development. We are ready to development, even mom!." Their boo boos, not mine. Huh? LOL

No probs, U2! It took 2 or 3 minutes, but not too bad. Can you imagine the exclusive baby photos? Whoa lordy! The media will probably have them before we do! HAHA

I think it is another ploy to get people to sign up for the text messages to get the exclusive info. jmo

April will have the calf when things are ready it doesn't matter what pictures they post.

It is a great journey to witness. I will leave my cam up this weekend but may not post much. It's Masters week/end. I will be glued to my fave of all Major Golf Tournaments. We are a Family of Golfers and Golf nuts.

O/T (lol, then again, this whole April thread is OT for crime tee hee). I heard the #1 player in the world fell down the stairs in his rented house yesterday, and may not play. Egads! Wonder how he is faring...

O/T #2 - I went one year to the practice rounds! Gorgeous, and loved the free parking and egg salad sammiches that were cheap cheap. Once you get in, it is really cheap.

I will go with the Evan for a boy! That will be our first Great Grandson's (First Great- Grandchild ever) name whom is be born in the first part of July. Yes that is the correct month if not sooner as my granddaughter looks big already and don't tell her I said that. I haven't seen her since she first found out because she lives 500 miles from us. I have just seen pictures of her and she looks big now, I hope she can make until July. Maybe her and April will deliver on the same day. Wouldn't that be fun!
