STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Authorities and the family of a missing Great Kills man continue a fervent search for the 69-year-old who was last seen leaving his home early Wednesday morning, his son told the Advance/SILive.com
Gup-Ping Ma went out for his routine half-hour morning walk to nearby Crescent Beach Park at around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday but did not return, said Ling Ma, the man’s son. Soon after, his family searched the area, called the cops and reported him missing.
Ling Ma said his father is suffering from memory loss and left the house without any money or identification. The 69-year-old does not know the area well, his son added.
