I definitely love the train of thought, and don't disagree she could have been an immigrant having fled the trying times. If we are to believe her age range, mid teens, I often wonder if she wasn't with her family at all, and had fled or been sent here to work (or school?)? She was sent overseas to work and have a better life? Again, all that land where she was found were fruit and peach orchards in the days before the housing tract was built. I can't help but wonder if something happened to her, she was buried in the orchard, and since communication back to her family would have been challenging there was never any reason to really speculate that something bad happened. So no missing persons report was filed. How often to we hear of very old cases (Does, missing persons cases) where no MP report was ever filed, because the family just assumed their loved one was off living their life or wanted to start a new life. As I've stated previously, I think she could have been there long before the late 50s/early 60s.

But I do think the teeth is such a big indicator and clue. I so hope there is news soon!!
I think it could be a situation where a teenage girl was sent abroad as an exchange student, or when a young girl goes with her boyfriend to another country... In general, I believe that she could have died in the second half of the official postmortem interval: 1969-1978, especially if the previous owner had access to the yard (I know, it sounds crazy). So in my place, I'm looking at the entire time of death range.
