Found Deceased NY - James Andrews, 73, Binghamton, early August 2019

James E. Andrews went missing in or near the beginning of August, a missing person’s report wasn’t filed until August 17th, more than two weeks after police believe he was last seen.

Andrews lived alone, in the months leading up to August, a young family was seen coming and going from Andrews’ home at all hours of the night. Neighbors initially said they believed the family was caring for Andrews, but on Wednesday they shared their suspicions that the family took advantage of the 73-year-old Andrews. That family, whose names are unknown at this time, has not been seen by neighbors since Andrews disappeared.

Police would not comment on the whereabouts of Andrews’ car, which neighbors say is also missing. Neighbors describe the vehicle as a silver, sporty Toyota SUV.

• He has some health issues but has never been reported missing in the past.
• James is 5'8" tall, weighing 155 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

Investigation continues for missing Binghamton man James Andrews
According to Binghamton Police Detectives, new leads are coming forward in the active investigation underway for 73-year-old James Andrews.

Minor said since the department offered up a $1,000 reward for information leading to Andrews whereabouts, more people have come forward with information. “We’ve followed up on close to 130 to 140 different leads that have come in,” he told 12 News.

Police would not comment if foul play is suspected at this time, but say they’re continuing to investigate all possible leads that come in.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Andrews suffers from Parkinson's disease and had several people helping him with errands, cleaning etc... Andrews is last seen on video with one of these people. The mail carrier called to check the welfare of Andrews as his mail had accumulated. Andrews was not located and his vehicle was located abandoned a few blocks away.

...has been found in Silver Lake Township, Pa. [SNIP] Police said the owners of the property cooperated with authorities and did not have knowledge that Andrew’s remains were located at their property.
