Found Deceased NY - James Kaplan, 69, Schaghticoke, 2 July 2017

The state police in Malta are requesting assistance in locating James M. Kaplan, 69, of Saratoga, who was last seen leaving the Lewis Tavern on Main Street in Schaghticoke on Sunday.

Kaplan was last seen on Main Street on his Harley Davidson motorcycle wearing tan pants and a beige Carhartt short sleeve t-shirt. The license plate on the motorcycle is 96GF07.

Kaplan is a white male, 6 foot 2 inches tall, 185 pounds, white hair and beard, and eye glasses.

SARATOGA — A 69-year-old motorcyclist who had been missing since Sunday was found dead Thursday afternoon from an apparent crash, State Police said.

The discovery came hours after troopers asked for the public's help in locating James M. Kaplan of Saratoga. He had been last seen Sunday leaving the Lewis Tavern in Schaghticoke on his Harley Davidson.

RIP, James.
