PMI is very lengthy, time of death est 1981-1985.
Ring has frayed bits of cloth/material at the rear rim, like something that was wrapped around it, like yarn. High school girls do that with their boyfriends' rings to make them fit, they wind the strands of yarn around and pad the whole thing and kind of tease the yarn, it looks like the ring's in a ball of cotton candy depending on how much larger the boyfriend's finger is than the girl's. So am positive that was a high school girl. Why's the ring not marked with year or name of school? Sometimes these rings are very "custom." It depends on what the person wants & can afford.
Rex Heuermann's Chester property is about a half an hour away from this location where the Doe was found. And the body found by hunters, Heuermann is a hunter, even had a license in Alaska at one point. How and when did this area enter onto Rex Heuermann's map? Because he (and his brother) didn't choose this location out of the clear blue sky. What is the real and complete history he had with this location?
This Doe's remains were found in a pile of sawdust. Heuermann victim Sandra Costilla's body was found with a sheen of sawdust on it. And with this Doe, they had to dig into the sawdust to find the skeletal remains, and it's not a complete skeleton. And this location-- I am not surprised there's 10 years PMI on this Doe, I streetviewed all the way through Old Brick Store Road in Ridgeway, it is definitely "remote."
If I needed any more convincing that this might really be the work of Heuermann, there's another Doe in Hubert North Carolina, also found completely skeletal. She had a couple of clothing labels with her remains, one was Necessary Objects LTD, this is a company based out of Long Island NY founded in 1981. Seeing it at one source described as ready-to-wear fashion design house.

Could it all be a coincidence? Maybe? But I doubt it. So I'm wondering if the Ridgeway Doe with the ring is Janice Fullam. Janice went to Smithtown High School, red is the school color. Heuermann went to Berner, their colors at the time included red for the Berner Bisons, he graduated 1981, the school ceased operations as a high school after 1987. Janice's height aligns. Her age pretty much aligns. Doe's PMI aligns with Janice's disappearance date. As noted, Heuermann's Chester property about a half hour from the site, and the site's about four and a half hours to Jacksonville FL on a trip from Smithtown that would have amounted to nearly 15 or 16 hours total. So had the destination been Florida, they'd have been about four hours short of the 15-16 total hours. I don't know if this Doe's Janice, but suspect there's a decent possibility she might be. The only thing that makes me potentially doubt it is that South Carolina's a DP state. BUT at the same time, he's retiring to the DP state.
JMO, that realistically could be Janice, despite seeming ridiculously unlikely at first blush.
