Per post 624... KF's comments...

Jennifer's parents live next door to them in New York?

For some reason I was under the impression that they lived in Arizona?

I thought I had read that they were flying in periodically since Jennifer's disappearance...

can anyone clarify this for me?

I know I could be way off base...

JMO

TIA

I believe Jennifer's parents live in NY during the summer, and AZ the rest of the year. They reportedly have been back and forth since Jennifer disappeared.

This all reads like someone's trying to paint a picture of a Jennifer who would take off to be with another man. A Jennifer who is not such a sweet doting mother after all. This info would fit in with Jennifer meeting someone online and then meeting with foul play. All her fault? Maybe....or is that what someone wants us to think?

Such is the hair color statement, which never seemed to get clarity on.
Why bother to mention that, unless you're trying to paint a picture.

Again, this hits home for me and I hope i'm wrong.

Excellent point about the hair thing. Fact is, women dying their hair is so commonplace it would seem to warrant no mention. It was reported in the newspapers that GR mentioned this to police, as apparently she had recently dyed it. Could he have done so because she dyed it a much different color than is depicted in her most recent pic? If not, then why mention it at all, if not to "paint a picture" as you mentioned...

I am just getting so much of Drew Peterson, telling everyone that Stacey ran off with a man.

How many guys notice if you dye your hair? Attentive men miss this stuff! Why would a man who's marriage is in trouble notice his wife's hair? Wait, i'm sorry...the report said she "May have" colored her hair. May have?
I'm not buying it. I'm afraid it's all just to paint a picture, leading one to believe that Jenny just walked her way into trouble. I'm afraid she did too, but if she did, odds are she had some serious guidance in finding that trouble, IMO.

I would like nothing more than to be wrong.

respectfully snipped

I don't get the bolded part (BBM), can someone please explain what this means? Maybe it's just akward wording, or maybe I'm reading it wrong. I assume she's referring to the fact that divorce had been discussed and whatnot ("weren't really family"), but what does that have to do with the rest of the paragraph? She's saying that police were never called because they didn't want anyone to know that there were problems in the marriage?

I dunno, I'm not getting it......

Good question...

LE were NOT called because they weren't a family....

Then....following this sentence logically.... LE would have been called if they WERE a family?

I am not trying to nitpick... I just am not understanding the concept...

TIA

Interesting point, IMO. Didn't want it known that they were having problems? If that's the case, putting on a front may well come naturally in this camp. But you don't hold back ANYTHING when LE is questioning you about your missing wife.

I'm really on the fence about whether she took off or if GR is at fault here (trying to stay within the rules, but you know what I mean about GR). All these points about GR that you guys have gone over are very valid, and do cause a great deal of suspicion. Maybe the cops are watching him and waiting for him to slip up? It's very odd that he'd "give up hope" so quickly after her going missing. Very VERY odd. He's definitely said some strange things that make you go hmmm.

At the same time, we've seen people run off before (even mothers). That lady who was on Dr. Phil - Tiffany Tehan. She was a mother who ran off with her lover and stayed gone for awhile. And there are many others who go missing of their own accord. I'm a big ID Channel addict, and love the show Disappeared. I've seen several cases where people have ditched their cars and cell phones and seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth. There was one guy, Tim Carney, who did this - ditched his car and wasn't heard from for 7 YEARS - then turned up alive and well, although no details were given about why he left or how he managed to remain undetected, or what his new life was like. So, it does happen.

And if the marriage was pretty much "done", maybe GR didn't love her anymore (which unfortunately happens all the time in marriages, right?). Maybe he fully believes she took off, and doesn't believe she's in danger. At the same time knowing that he is under suspicion, since he's the husband. Maybe that would account for the weird behavior on his part.

I can see either being the case!! But I think it's one of the two, b/c if anyone thought she'd met up with some online person and then met with foul play, they'd be looking harder, KWIM? I'm at an even 50/50 on what could have happened.

Anything is possible. As for what's being looked into, we have no idea. LE isn't saying....
Yet.

When you look at the Public Posts for her name on facebook, what is this "83 down, 102 to go, and 1 year, Too SLO! Help find Jennifer Renz Ramsaran" stuff? I can't figure it out.

I do it often and at very random times and my husband maybe notices about 1/3 of the time. He would probably say "blond" if I went missing, even if it was brown at the time. He also would have no clue what I might be wearing, or what items were missing, lol. But yeah, I could see if he was guilty of something where he might imply I was going through a hair dying phase, etc. anyway...for what it is worth.

Krey ~ where do you see this? I can't find it.

When you type Jennifer Ramsaran into the search bar on facebook, and then click Public Posts under Search Filters on the left, and scroll through the results, there are a bunch of the same thing, with slightly different numbers each time. They're all posted by someone with initials PPB. Let me know whether you find it or not, and if you can't, I'll try to direct you to it some other way.

It just makes no sense to me. Maybe it's some kind of running goal thing? I can't figure it out in the slightest.

Sounds like the way some people count down their weight loss.....but that would be almost 200 pounds needed to be taken off - maybe it's a group effort?

http://www.slomarathon.com/

This site talks about the SLO (San Luis Obisipo) Marathon dates.
There is a count-down clock on that site but it is listed (at the time of this writing) as 85 days to go, not 102. 102 days from now is roughly mid-April. SLO's marathon date is 04/07....Hmmmm...

If the "and one year" is added, maybe that's 2014's SLO marathon date?

Hmmm, good catch!! Maybe that's it, and she/they are doing it in honor of Jennifer. There's always a couple of pictures of JR to accompany the status update.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Jilllian, I think you've figured it out. :)

I'm a walker - we only count up to 60.....marathon running is insane in my mind (although if you think about it, when we walk the 3-Day, we're doing the equivalent of almost a marathon a day......)

Okay, that clinches it - 3-Day walkers are an insane bunch!

AHHHHHH! Alright, that makes some kind of sense. Especially since JR was into marathons and such. Maybe they were marathon buddies.

Thanks so much for figuring it out, Jillian! It was driving me crazy every time I saw it, b/c it made zero sense to me.
