Cheers to Matt Porter and the rest of the WBNG team for their coverage of the arraignment!!

I just love the article, love the video, and love the photos. I liked the one photo where there's just a sea of blue behind GR in the courtroom. I liked Matt's comment that GR had to enter through the side door because so many people at the front door. SOOO proud of the locals who made it a point to be there to support Jennifer, wearing blue clothing and blue ribbons (kudos to the lady who made those!), to shield her family from the press, and to speak out to the press.:blowkiss:

I love that Matt Porter is super sassy now that he knows Remy (allegedly) lied to him for months.

specifically mentioning flight risk and his enhanced drivers license. [/B]

and the attorney's need to meet with him "at various locations" including "Binghamton (no idea why he threw that in there).

RSBM & BBM: There are Dutch issues we need to look into, imo.

And- why do attorney's need to meet him at various locations does everyone think? When out on bail, was he sleeping around / staying at numerous places?

Tears for himself...

Anyone know whether or not the Judge would have been aware of COD today (from the Grand Jury indictment) when he increased bail?

One lawyer is in Binghamton and the other in Albany. No?

good question. since we don't know where he's staying, maybe the attorneys were shooting for the "access to his attorneys" angle. maybe he's staying in or near binghamton? ackerman is from albany, i think. i thought chamberlain was local, but not sure. he used to be.

forgot to mention: the judge said this 45-day period can be extend due to the complicated nature of the case.

:)

What do y'all think? The COD? Tech type evidence?

So Sad. No reason. About 50% of marriages end in divorce. No reason to OFF one's partner, let alone to alter children's lives by doing so.

It's difficult to empathize with him given the length of their relationship, that there are several children from the marriage, his affair with her best friend, his inability to stay off the internet where he put it out there right out of the gate by contacting the 2 psychics/intuitives in full public view, his eventual "bashing" of his wife, and Jen's apparent gentle temperament and dedication to their children and her family.

reminds me of his quote "What could I have done differently?"

i hope he spends the rest of his life thinking about that.

IMO he simply did not want to spend the money to fight her in court...because he could have; didn't want to share the assets, pay CS, temporary maintenance, etc...imagine what his greed & IMO narcissism are gonna cost him now?

Likely...doing time, plenty of money, his reputation, his career, his children's trust, his own parents' grief and despair, etc.

WTH/F?

No apples, but this is an intelligent guy, with a home, a career, friends, family, an education, "salesmanship" skills, etc.

Indeed there are some Dutch issues that need to be investigated!

It's my understanding that the DA (or the defense attorney) can call for a new hearing to address changes to bail. I think we'd all like to see NO bail.

If anyone can find verification of GR's citizenship status (other than U.S.) and passport status of him and the kids -- that needs to get faxed, called, or emailed to the D.A. ASAP.

Any other information related to flight risk should also be brought to the D.A.'s attention.

We need to keep digging -- I think there's a whole load of something that needs to be brought to light.

I predict he accepts a plea, that is only IF they'll offer him 15+ on the minimum end...If it's higher, I don't think he'll accept. Also depends upon how vicious and cruel the COD was, as well as what kind of case DA's got: don't believe they'll offer him lower than 20+.
